About Me

My Name is Denise. I live in the mountains with my husband, two dogs and a cat. I like to laugh. Singing along to songs on the radio/ipod relaxes me (even though I don't have a good voice). I like to write short stories, make lists, and mixed cd's. I also love to cook and bake and read. If you do not receive a swap from me let me know and I will resend it.

Favorite Music

I love all kinds of music, especially live. My ipod has everything from the Beatles to Kate Nash and from Red Hot Chili Peppers to Neil Diamond. Right now I am listening to a lot of Alternative - Muse, Black Keys, A Silent Film, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand and Death Cab for Cutie (to name a few)

Favorite Books

Some of my favorites are Stieg Larson's The Girl Who...series. The Book Thief, Running with Scissors, Water For Elephants. How To Talk To A Widower, The Glass Castle. I am currently writing a short story and I love all cookbooks.

Favorite Crafts

I like mail art, scrapbooking, card making, cake decorating (if that is a craft:)
