Hi, I'm Phillippa. I'm 23 years old and from the UK, I'm a Yorkshire Girl and proud! I'm a childcare student, so I spend 3 days a week learning to look after children and 2 days actually doing it!

I joined swap-bot a few years ago, but then life got in the way so I stopped for a while. I restarted swapping in Feb 2011 and quickly became addicted!

I'm going to be limiting my swapping over the next few months. Christmas is coming up so I need to re-budget myself for that. In the New Year I am planning on sending Happy Surprise Mail to family members rather than just making strangers smile, I want to make my family's days just a little better.

I listen to most types of music except hiphop/RnB/rap. I love The Beautiful South, I grew up listening to them and just love their music and lyrics. I have developed a love for gentle music recently, stuff like snow patrol and James Blunt. I also adore music form musicals like Phantom of The Opera, Chicago, Hairspray etc etc.

I adore reading. I spend too much time with my head in a novel and not in a study book! I read classics like Jane Eyre, Chick Lit books, stuff like Dan Brown, and I read an unhealthy amount of Terry Pratchett!! I'm also a Harry Potter geek. But put a book in front of me and I'm sure I'll read it - Just don't ask me to write an essay on it!

I don't watch all that many films, but I do like the PotC trilogy, and comedy films like Hot Fuzz. Most of the DVDs I own are stand up comedy like Dara O'Brien and Russel Howard.

I love comedy - Black books, Two and A Half Men and Big Bang Theory just to name a few sitcoms I like. I enjoy quizcoms like Mock The Week and 8 out of 10 cats. I have developed a love for Glee recently and myself and my family have become addicted to NCIS.

I do art journaling and scrap booking. I love making cards as well. I've become a major ATC addict since (re)joining swap-bot. I'm starting to branch out into different crafts so hopefully doing some swaps will help me.

I love using Tim Holtz products (if they weren't so expensive!) and 7 gypsys, paperartsy... all the altered imagery stuff.

I'd love to get ideas for new crafty things, so I'd love to see what ever it is you make =) I'd also like to get into doing some cross stichy things. I'm thinking to start off small and work my way up - no point jumping into a big one and finding out I don't like it!

I know it's not a craft as such, but I love writing and reading letters about anything and everything. I'm really enjoying getting to know people through letters. They give you an extra insight to people and their worlds that you can't get from an email or sometimes even talking to someone. Also it means I get to know people from all over the world!

~Anything ATC. ATCs made by you, ATC pouches, backing papers, embellishments - you name it, I'll love it!

~ Jewellery of all styles, chunky, subtle, bright, gold/silver, anything goes with me! but not earrings as I don't have pierced ears

~anything you have taken taken time to think about and make or select.

~Socks - small! I'm only a shoe size 4 (UK)

~Girl Guiding (or equivalent) - I'm a Brownie Leader and proud of it!

~Fat Quarters or biggish fabric scraps. I've recently started a sewing class and it's got me addicted to making things.

~Cross Stitch kits or patterns.

There are a few things which I will love you forever for and would love to do private swaps for.

• Boston Cream Pie mixes. We can't get them over here and my Grandma loves them, so I'd win millions of grandchild points if I could get her some!

• Any of my Esty Favs, especially anything Harry Potter or Doctor Who based.

• A necklace with a working clock like a mini pocket watch

• Something you've made =)

~yellow - no idea why.

~ Tea and Coffee. Don't like hot drinks. Or Coffee flavoured things

~Very religious things. I'm not religious myself and although I respect other peoples beliefs and am interested in them, very religious items aren't very appropriate for me.

~Clowns - I find clowns really creepy and would really rather not have anything with them. shudders having said that I do like things which are fairground themed and some circus themed things, just avoid clowns!

~Dolls. I like some forms of dolls but other I'm not a fan of. So please don't send them (unless requested).

~ there isnt all that much I don't like. If I think of anything else I'll put it on here!
