Hi! I'm Cheryl! I'm married and I live in Plainfield, IL, about 40 miles southwest of Chicago. I'm a huge Chicago Blackhawks hockey fan.

I’m non-denominational Christian, but appreciate and enjoy learning about other religions.

Proud fur momma of an "energetic" hound-mix dog named Jack, we adopted from a local shelter (Fall 2018).

I've worked in the social service field for over 20 years.

I love all things postal, snail mail and mail art. I'm not sure what I enjoy most...sending mail or receiving mail.

I enjoy visiting central Wisconsin and spending time in nature.

I enjoy going on tours (cemetery tours, factory tours, ghost tours, historical tours)

One of my simple joys is stumbling upon an interesting quote. Sometimes just watching tv, listening to the radio or reading a book can lead to the surprise of a quote that moves you. For some odd reason, I especially like very odd/obscure quotes, lines from movies and music lyrics. *If you have any favorites please pass them along.

Stocking stuffer swaps: I love these swaps and put quite a bit of time into finding the right gift and wrapping the gift nicely. I really like present presentation, it enhances the experience :)

*Postcard wish list: I enjoy images of water (ice, lakes, oceans, fog, steam, beaches, rain, waterfalls), clouds, black & white and cinema/TV. I like odd and quirky cards and I don't mind offensive cards.

I love great movies.....I've watched the AFA Top 100 movies of all time (checked off of the bucket list!).

I'm drawn to rewatching 1980's comedies, can't get enough of these: Back to the Future, Uncle Buck, Great Outdoors, Pee Wee's Big Adventure

PODCASTS: Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend, Smartless, The Office Ladies, Parks and Recollection, Buddhist Bootcamp.
