I'm sort of photographer from Ukraine. My interests are obviously photography (especially glaciers), a little climbing and trekking. In my indoor life I like baking and cooking, popular science (biology mostly), organizing life and house, and adoring my two pet degus.

I'm into postcards only.

• wildlife (parrots, whales, dolphins... and rodents/weasels of course!),

• fantasy/sf/fairytale, deep forests,

• Fallout/Machinarium art, urban decay, neglected gardens/parks/factories, cute robots,

• transport of any kind (but not cars), especially trains,

Obviously progressive: rock, folk, metal. My all-time favorites are Ayreon, Pain of Salvation, Shadow Gallery and Camel. //also Arena, Unitopia, IQ, Also Eden, Carptree, Stream of Passion, Kayak, A.C.T... I can do it for a long time I also like folk-rock, mostly celtic and breton (Blackmore's Night, Karnataka, Mostly Autumn, Capercaillie), and various singers-songwriters, usually Russian, like Elena Frolova and Oleg Medvedev. Aside from this, I like Tiamat (the best way to find my blue mood isn't really blue), Moonspell, Within Temptation and could listen to most female-fronted metal bands for some time, but getting tired fast. As you could realize by now, I'm quite obsessive about music.

I'm old-time fan of sci-fi and fantasy, reading all this since I turned nine. I like Robert Heinlein, Roger Zelazny, William Tenn, John Windam and other classic SF authors. Lois McMaster Bujold and Vernor Vinge are my favorites for modern sci-fi.

As for fantasy, I mostly read Russian female authors: Olga Gromyko, Olga Pogodina, Olga Golotvina, Olga Onoyko (I found authors named Olga are talented more often than others, isn't it fun?), Eleonora Ratkevich, Anastasiya Parfenova.

Mostly SF too :) Buffy the Vampire Slayer, La Femme Nikita, Bugs, Tek Wars, Farscape, Firefly(!)... but I also like In Treatment and Gilmore Girls. My most recent discovery is Once Upon a Time.

I'm a bookworm and see a movie quite rarely. I had times when I saw about 12-15 movies a year. I think now it's about 50 plus some TV series, but I know it is still below the average. But I have my favorites too!

• Most of Tim Burton works,
• All Clive Nolan works,
• Most of Johnny Depp roles,
• Most of Luc Besson works
• Minority report, Sucker Punch, Watchmen, Die hard 2, Al Pachino, Jack Nicholson, Christian Bale parts and various other movies, mostly sci-fi. I adore Audrey Hepburn, so seem to cope with old movies with her. Recently I need to add to list British romantic comedies, especially with Colin Firth.

I like orange, green and purple, coffee gradations. From autumn 2012 I fell in love with teal and teal blue, so it's my favourite color since then.

My interest in photography are various, but the first is obviously light. I can adore most any picture, captured in evening/morning light. I like that peculiar light which comes with solar eclipses. I like the way light shows and hides features of human faces. I like old photographs, film photos and Instagram photos too. I like shallow DOF and manual focusing. And I love glaciers and could shoot them for endless time. For some month now I mostly take pictures of park squirrels and my degus, and have two Tumblr blogs for that.
