I'm a Nan of 4 now, 3 girls & the last one is a boy. Both my sons are married to lovely ladies.
I live alone & have some mobility & health challenges.
August 2015 I'm now the proud owner of Jimmy a 2 year old Papalion hes so cute, cuddly & happy to sleep in either his crate or my bed depending on my mood. His best friend is a beautiful large golden they have lots play dates & when one stays with the other for a few days they sulk when they go home as they miss each other.
I have had it for a couple months so love it makes it so easy to cook good things for myself & is easy clean too. So now I use lots of raw fresh nuts etc rather than processed food. Been building up my supply of jar for keeping ingredients in and increasing herb & spices which I love. Have very few at present.
Sorry not into fairies or halloween anything, angels yes love them have a beautiful one hanging up in my bedroom.
Caffeine, any smellies including popouri, I can't have smells or chemicals around me & will even react to things that are posted from a smoking home so please if you smoke be aware of this.
I also don't wear jewellery & really don't like orange as a colour.
Butterflies of course, purple would be my favourite colour with orange the least liked & I'm ok with any colours between.
Style well I'm not a fussy girly type but then I love using laces & do create in all sorts of styles so don't think I really have a preference yet.
Love all Dr Who things any age all of the program is so much fun. Knitted & sold the Dr who scave now need to make myself one :)
Reading other profiles I realised many of you do quite detailed ones so here goes. Although these are my diagnoses & I'm aware of the way they affect my daily living I try not to label myself with them when possible, not wishing or speaking bad over myself rather I try to speak good future as much as possible. Yes I'm human & fail often.
Fibroymyaligia Depression PSD Anxiety Aspergers Learning difficulties Sight issues with trying to focus to read a book so using talking books. Collasped disks in back from broken tail bone. Sinus Asthma
In very recent times I have been experiencing improvement, its a holistic approach including my beliefs (see below). My home is chemical free & that includes all perfumes etc I use goats milk soap which I feel is badly named as its not soap in the sense most know & that's all I have for cleaning myself with, crystal deodorant, olive leaf mixed with water for mould & equipliptus mixed with water for cleaning. Yes I react to even vinegar.
Allergies also spring over into food which is fantastic when I stick to it for my body, but can feel stifling at times so I break out & then pay for it. As I say I'm only human.
2016 has bought an increase in all my symptoms at present trialling a low dose hormone replacement as seems I'm in menopause - yuk. Seems to have helped somewhat.
I belong to a small church called Wave & we are connected to Bethal in Redding California. Its lovely having this connection & the teams that come & pray & encourage our small community. Because of my growing (yes we are always growing/learning) faith I try to speak positive over myself, easier some days than others.
Water pretty much covers it, has to be filtered & I have to use it to do teeth as well otherwise I pick up bugs way too sensitive.
In the winter I use loose organic herb tea, sometimes I use detox mixture other times of the year.
For a treat, so not very often, I will get a coconut chi latte I do love them but they don't love me so much.
I never touch caffeine can't tolerate it.
I'm still walking a bit slow some days with flare ups, fall pulling knee & possibly more in leg waiting to see how it all goes. Was doing great till neighbors from hell moved into flat 2 with half the drug community around here so mess & noise all day & night has really taken its toll on me.
This has sorta taken a bit of a back step as thought I was moving packed up & no it never happened painful being at mercy of Government housing.
For now its crochet and knitting whatever takes my fancy. Love blankets, socks & amigurimi
Have ideas of things I like on etsy & Raverly usually you can find similar in other places depends on what you have access to.
I'm in love with sock knitting now on circular needles for the most part with dpns for heels & toes. I love very soft pure wool. Green tea & Fibre revolution are my favorite Au dyers. There are some nice sock yarns around that are not scratchy. I'm so sensitive its gotta be real soft wool often they have a small bit of nylon in them.
Next year I would like to try designing socks so figure I need to find some books on how to chart & write down. Got friends checking out op shops as they are cheapest way to do this.
