I love spending time with friends and family, road trips, making breakfast for dinner, sewing and embroidering, and eating copious amounts of Indian food. My husband, Tom, & I enjoy nights of playing board games together. My favorite board game is Apples to Apples. We have fun lounging with our four cats (Hyacinth, Maple, Chaz, and Evinrude). We recently gave birth to our daughter, Maiya on April 24, 2009. Maiya is a severely chill baby who is happy to play by herself or tag along in what her mama and daddy are doing.

I work at the local library which I love because I spend my time joking with people and I don't have to cover up my seven tattoos. I process the new materials that come into our library and most of what my job entails, I learned in kindergarten: taping, gluing, labeling, talking to others nicely. :) I still miss my baby girl when I am at work!!

My big vice is Dr. Pepper. I am a huge believer in karma. It is my goal to live simply and without clutter. I am starting a square foot garden in winter of 2009. I want chickens in my backyard. I'd love a pet rabbit. I am learning worm composting and I am in the process of xeriscaping my yard. I'd love to get my nostril pierced. I am studying to become a lactation counselor. I will never say no to a cupcake.
