My Name is Caitlin, but i prefer to go by Cate. I am a newbie here but i was on postcrossing for a while (i'm currently inactive there).

I love animals and have a dog and two cats right now, but i really love to collect elephants. Anything with elephants on it is awesome, pictures, stickers, figurines, whatever you can find.

I am 19 and bi (currently single), I live in South Australia (Adelaide if you want to be precise). I love any sort of quote that i can stick up on my wall.

At the moment I am at uni studying behavioural science (i do a combination of psychology and sociology topics). I really love both of them, especially sociology (it's so interesting).

My favourite colour is purple and the only colours i don't like are orange and brown. I love penpalling, and anyone who'd like to be either snail mail or email penpals with me is welcome to comment.

A few other random things... i love chocolate but i don't like chocolate icecream or chocolate cake. I love glitter and anything sparkly. I also like all that tortured soul, depressive type stuff. I love history especially anything related to World War II. And i also love everything to do with the Titanic

I love my music and i'm always looking for new stuff to listen to. At the moment i'm loving indie stuff and weird semi-folk music. The only things i'm not really interested in are rap, metal and screamo. I'm not a huge fan of the dodgy pop stuff but sometimes i like it. same with emo.

My favourite bands include: She & Him, Common Rotation, Joshua Radin, the Beatles, the Corrs, Counting Crows, the Cranberries, the Weepies, Death Cab for Cutie, Missy Higgins, Delta Goodrem, Dido, Five For Fighting, Howie Day, Matt Nathanson, Oasis, U2, Placebo, and yes i still like to listen to the Spice Girls

I wish i had more time to read but i'm so busy that i don't really get a chance anymore. Even so, i try to find time, and i usually read on the bus.

I am really NOT a fan of the whole Twilight thing (and yes i have read all 4 books).

I am a Harry Potter fan through and through (my favourite character is Tonks). I also loves the Bones books by Kathy Reichs, the Tomorrow Series by John Marsden (actually anything by John Marsden), Obsession by Julia Lawrinson, Death's Daughter by Amber Benson and the Blue Bloods books are pretty good too. I'm also planning to get into some of the classics when i get a chance.

Hmm... bear with me, it could be a long list, but i'll try not to get too extensive. I love thrillers and horror (even though i mostly just find horror funny). But i love drama and romantic comedies just as much.

I still love my Disney movies, not so much the new ones but the old school stuff like 101 Dalmatians, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Beauty and the Beast, and of course Lion King (who doesn't love the lion king).

Some of my current favourites are American Pie 1 & 2 (not such a fan of the third one), Chance, Taboo, Notting Hill, Thirteen, 10 Things I Hate About You, Ghost Ship, Wolf Creek, Elf, 500 Days of Summer, Tin Man, Star Wars (especially the originals), 50 First Dates, Music and Lyrics, Strictly Sexual, Grease, Willy Wonka, Butterfly Effect, Serendipity, the Wedding Singer, Never Been Kissed, Two Weeks Notice.

I love anything with either Drew Barrymore, Zooey Deschanel or Alyson Hannigan or Amber Benson in it.

I think i'm a bit of a tv nut. I love it. Most of the shows i like aren't even on anymore but i don't love them any less (i have pretty much all of them on dvd).

Hmm... let's see... Stargate SG-1 (Atlantis and Universe just don't compare), MASH, NCIS, Moonlight, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Angel is okay too), Bones, Gilmore Girls, SVU, X-Files, Men in Trees,the Nanny, the L Word, Castle, How I Met Your Mother, Castle and Dollhouse
