I am an elementary art teacher and life-long crafter. I have a very unartistic husband but he's been around for 34 years so I guess I'll keep him. My only child/daughter is a high school art teacher.

Lean toward mellow music...favorite James Taylor. Also enjoy musicals...Wicked being my current favorite. Really enjoy all music...least favorite would be country.

I am an avid reader. Some of my favorite authors Jonathan Kellerman, Patricia Cornwell and for laughs Evanovich. Love to read magazines especially artsty/craftsy and cooking.

Ones I can watch over and over again... You've Got Mail, Father Goose, Passion Fish, Meet Me in St. Louis...an odd assortment.

Don't watch a lot of TV but like House, ER, Brothers and Sisters and Lipstick Jungle. Spend more time on Food Network and HGTV.

Love to craft. I enjoy making things for other people. I have tried every craft known and have the boxes in my art studito to prove it. I enjoy sewing and working with polymer clay. My new obsession is working with fused glass. So far I've been working on small jewelry pieces but am scheduled to take a class at a local glass studio. I take classes when I can and was lucky enough to be in classes taught by Donna Kato and Laurie Doctor. Actually I am scheduled to take a cupcake class this week.

I like earthy colors...sage is probably my favorite. I love handmade items. Since I'm an artist/art educator, my friends seldom hand make me gifts...guess they are intimidated...though I can't see why. I have a hugh Christmas tree that I cover with ornaments...can always find room for more. I like angels and fairies. Like coffees and teas...not too particular about flavors. I make books, so I enjoy all sorts of papers and embellishments.

Not fond of cats, much prefer puppies. Overly religious items. Country and canvas crafts. I prefer simplicity to overdone. Unfortunately I am diabetic, so...even though I'd love to indulge in sugar, my doctor would appreciate it if you didn't temp me. :)
