About Me

I am an avid knitter, quilter and soapmaker. I have participated in many soap and knitting themed swaps. I have two adult children finally finished with school and working. My daughter still lives with me and our three cats and one dog who really is the King of the House. I work full time as a math staff developer in an innercity K-5 school in NYC. I'm listed in Ravelery and Flicker as Franhaz. I love strong coffee, dark chocolate, natural fibers especially wool blends and relaxing at the beach. My favorite colors are reds, blues,and greens. I usually avoid orange and yellow.

Classical and old Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkle etc.

Favorite Crafts

knitting, soapmaking, quilting, redwork,

Favorite Books

I enjoy mysteries, biographies, and pretty much anything except Romance and supernatural books about vampires!
