Hello, world. I went to school for textile design, and now... I make things for a living. These things are often made of fiber. I screen print, crochet, knit, paint, draw, stamp and otherwise torture fabric until I think it looks good. :) If you are extremely interested, feel free to check out my etsy store. I also really enjoy putting together special packages to mail out to people. You can rest assured that whatever I send to you will be memorable for both you and the postmaster. I am thoroughly convinced that the postal workers at the local post office think I am crazy. I make and send out a lot of post cards to my grandfather, and not one of them really makes sense. Sometimes they are just covered in lobsters. (He displays them proudly on his coffee table.)

rainbows! ... (oh yeah. I'm a long-time fan of them.)

a specific color combination that I currently love is bright yellow and light teal or robin's egg blue.....that's if you can't handle a whole rainbow. :P

magnets ... (I'm not sure how this started, but at some point I started making my own, and as if that doesn't give me a vast enough collection, I have my artwork printed on magnets to sell...AND I like to collect new ones. Especially if they feature someone's art or photography!)

kittens ... (if they have laser eyes, all the better)

really realistic renderings of pugs ... (a recent addition to my list of likes)

really realistic renderings of any kind of animal ... (especially if it looks especially furry, scaley, or feathery. I like the visual texture! I started collecting rubber stamps like this because that's not how I draw at all.)

zines about pretty much anything (especially minizines, the ones that are 1/8th the size of a standard sheet of paper)

your artwork on a postcard! (that includes photography)

friendship bracelets ... (I'm apparently hooked on them)

I'll admit to being weird-ed out by getting edibles in the mail ... (with the exception of tea, if it's wrapped, tea is OK).

I suddenly found myself with a massive sticker collection...which I don't really need, so I'm sending them out to swap partners who might like them. With that said, I definitely don't need any more stickers! (I'm swimming in them!)

beads (I generally pass them on to a friend)

A popular craft that I don't do is scrap booking, so ... random bits of paper, embellishments, brads, etc. would be passed on to another swapper in the future. :)
