Hello there! I'm Brittany. As long as I've remembered I've always loved paper. Books, notebooks, paper bags, boxes, bookmarks...that's why when I discovered this site I got really excited! (I write letters to my friends a lot but sometimes my love of all things paper leaves me drowning in stationery and postcards) I'm an all around creative person. I've been writing as long as I can remember. I've recently got into zines through my friend who runs a small distro. I finished my first one a little while ago. It's sort of silly, but I'm learning. I used to draw a lot, but I stopped when I started high school. Last year I took an art class and it's gotten me drawing and generally art-ing all the time again. I love making watercolor postcards. I'm also a filmmaker! And I'm in a band!

Some personality trivia: I'm an INFP, enneagram 4w5. I like talking about gender. I LOVE comics. I lead a double life as a coupon nerd. I live in California. I love corgis...more than comics.

I like music that makes me feel like I don't exist, but also that I am all that exists. I am also really weird about sharing because it is the most personal thing in the world to me. But, I will promote and support my friend's music as much as I can. If you're interested, I could show you a few that I'd think you'd like!

I don't watch nearly enough movies to be a good film student and I get embarrased and don't tell people my favorite movies. BUT HERE I GO ANYWAY Where the Wild Things Are, The Tree of Life, 2001: A Space Odessey, Most Wes Anderson movies but ESPECIALLY The Life Aquatic, Movies my teachers have made...Littlerock is a movie you all should watch! It's on netflix!, Trainspotting, I definitely am forgetting things.

Book books: The Book Thief, The Great Gatsby, Les Miserables (I've only read the abridged version though...), The Grapes of Wrath, assorted feminist books! Yes Means Yes is my favorite! Don't read Guyland it will make you feel terrible!, The Realm of Possibility, there are more but I always forget! I've started keeping a book journal (They're really cool!)

Comic books/graphic novels (if you prefer to call em that): Lost at Sea, Blue Pills, Fun Home, Understanding Comics (MIND BLOWING SERIOUSLY GUYS), Everything Lynda Barry. She is one of my biggest inspirations., Blankets

I really really really like My Little Pony. And Adventure Time. I wish the world was really that cute. I don't really have a lot of time for watching TV though! (I guess that's one of the reasons I like cartoons, it's a relatively small time investment)

When you write, please feel free to be as natural and human as you want to be. I have a sense of humor, I promise. :) Please, no copy and paste letters...typed is fine, but I can tell the difference. I know most people don't do this, but I received near identical letters from someone once and it was REALLY disappointing. As far as postcards and things go, I like the colors blue and purple, fluffy dogs, corgis, clouds, handmade and recycled things, interesting patterns, anything weird or bizarre and funny, postcards of places, abstract art (any art!), pretty much everything. I do swap FBs, slams, decos, x-slips, pretty much anything! If you'd like to pass a few on to me in a swap feel free!
