I have swapped flower seed and plants in the past (on a gardening site) and had so much fun.

I have been married to the same wonderful man for 40 years! I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. I am a high school teacher.

I am rather conservative in family relationships, politics and religion. I am a christian and believe that Jesus was born to a virgin, crucified, buried, rose again and will return one day (maybe soon) for all those who believe in Him.

Hobbies include reading, gardening, jewelry making and other crafts. I love making dotee dolls.

My favorite colors are purples and pinks. Also I love black and white together.

I grew up in a rural area on Northeast Alabama, USA and love it. A big part of my love of fabrics and crafting comes from my mother who can make just about anything she sets her mind to.

I began my sewing career at the age of about 8 or 10 making dolls clothes. Mom made just about all my clothing until I learned to sew well enough to make my own. I made my wedding dress with Mom's help. I spent several years sewing for the public. I don't have much time to sew now but still love fabrics, colors and textures. I can spend hours in a fabric store or even looking at fabrics or clothing online.

I look forward to many swaps on swap-bot. I am just about to send my first swap which is an dotee doll.
