music lover for sure. I listen to everything. My husband is a metal fan and country, he plays guitar. I am a dance freak and love dance and disco and rap/hip-hop. My daughter is going through a emo/alternative/punk phase, so I listen to it. I am an old rocker and love elo, abba, allman bros., bto, boston, kiss, etc. Love pop music. Family sings gospel, bluegrass. Love Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, Dusty Springfield.

I like to keep up with the best sellers. I like stephen king, dean koontz (odd thomas series), twilight series, left behind series, love series/chapter books. Anita Shreve, Jodi Picoult, Adrienne Triagiani, Wally Lamb, Toni Morrisson... definite reader. Love the magazines also. My fave american author is John Irving. I love the gossip magazines, craft magazines, allure, oprah, mad, cracked, music themed, in style. Back issues would be welcome. Love to cut them up. Stephen KIng has a new one out. Anyone have a used copy they want to gift me with???

Romantic comedy, I love Hugh Grant movies. I brake for Bridget Jones movies when they replay them on tv. Can't resist musicals. Hairspray was great. Dream Girls is another fave. , We went to see Where The Wild Things Are and it really stunk. I love the book, but the movie was trash.

Addicted to celeb reality, no matter how trashy. I am a former tv addict and rarely watch now, because it stinks. But still follow Project Runway, Top Chef, Housewives of..., I like old movies, Rock Hudson, Doris Day, Carey Grant, Deborah Kerr, Audrey Hepburn, etc. Grew up on Elvis movies and Beach Party, Gidget. Real Housewives of Orange County is back on, and riveting from the first episode. love it!!!

I love color. Brights, pastels, prints. Love the retro/deco styles. whimsey, fave color is all shades of purple. Like combo of pink and orange, brown and pink, brown and blue. Love the sparkly blue and white for Christmas instead of the traditional red and green.

I do cross stitch, like to hand sew, have tried some different things lately (stuffies, string doll, dotee.) Love to try new crafts. Not really that handy but I do enjoy it and there are some talented ladies on here who put up with me and I appreciate it. Someday I might get it right!!! I am having a blast. Like the altered journal. Want to try a bottle cap shrine/ pin cushion, captured fairy, penny pocket, fabric charm, etc. I like to do atc.

I am 48, sahm, one daughter (12), husband of 17 years, love of my life, i have one spoiled boy cat named dipper, I love to be outdoors, not sports minded but love to swim. I like to sit on my patio and do my crafts. Nothing better than sitting there in the morning with coffee and the paper and just enjoying the day. I am laid back, understanding, slow to anger. Hence the driftwood nickname. I am not a flaker. I have been late on swaps, but never flaked. I am currently up to date and staying that way. If I owe you any tags please pm me.

Stickers(esp. butterflies, sparkly, glittery, girl stuff), gel pens, any craft supply, fabric scrap, etc. handmade items are my fave. I do not know what these are but would love to view them-ruby doll, bottlecap shrine, penny pocket, fabric charm, captured fairy, whimsey jar, row house.

October 23. My father in law's alzheimers has progressed rapidly in the past few months. It is a heart breaking disease. He was a very vital, active man and now needs constant care. I have pared down some on my swaps and hope those who I have been late to will understand. I love this site and hope to continue. Thanks to all the caring and great people here, swapping does relieve stress from it all.
