Hi there, I love all things related to art and have since I was little. I have lots of experience sending thoughtful crafty gifts to people I know and love, and this site has been SO much fun for me!

I live in sunny Hawaii and enjoy traveling and seeking out new experiences. And wherever I am, I like to surround myself with fun people from all walks of life. I am open-minded and easygoing and full of creative ideas!

I have an art degree and am always up for new creative challenges. This past year, I was running my own retail store and was BUSY, but I closed up shop and am back to the hands-on creative projects I love the most, such as painting, digital art, and jewelry-making.

I'm working on some new projects and should have a new etsy link and website soon.

For swaps relating to preferences, I love birds, things from nature such as shells, interesting branches and stones, etc. Foreign coins are always fun, funky bottle caps, old keys, fortune-cookie fortunes. I'm on a Steampunk kick lately, so if you include old watch parts, little gears, typewriter keys, etc, I'll flip! I lived in Japan for a while, so the kawaii stuff is cute to me (fruit with faces, smiling toasters - aw!). I love tea, things that feel 'zen,' little thought-provoking quotes and articles, personal touches, and simple, pretty presentation! I'm part hippie girl, part computer nerd, part steampunk artist, part zen. Let that guide you if you're putting together something personal for me, but ultimately I'm open to wherever people's creative inspiration takes them.

I love movies that inspire deep thoughts. I like movies that make me laugh. I like movies that awe me with their beauty. And I enjoy music that is chill and relaxing. My favorite music these days is acoustic guitar (think Jack Johnson, Colbie Calliat), world music and ambient music of the Cafe Del Mar variety. I like nature sounds & meditation music, too.

I don't really watch much TV, but I do tune into Survivor sometimes.

I enjoy reading and my favorite books are the type that immerse me in some magical world (Inkheart, Storyteller's Daughter, Goose Girl, Howl's Moving Castle, etc.), or books that inspire deep thoughts and personal growth (Pronoia, The Alchemist, Small Graces, A New Earth, etc.)

I noticed some people added 'wishlists' to their pages so thought I'd do the same. Please know that NOTHING in this list is required. Just adding it for people who like to know this kind of thing.
