Knitting and cross-stitching have been long time loves of mine.

I'm just starting to create various items out of felt. My latest project is Harry Potter book markers...It is time consuming but fun, I am really happy to be using my creative side.

Favorite Color

I love ORANGE~! It became my favorite color in 2005 when I fell in love with Lida: the lead guitarist of the Japanese rock band, Psycho le Cemu.
Lida
His hair was a bright orange that wasn't too dazzling but a warm glowing shade of orange..Ever since my signature color has been orange. :)

My Pets

Louie
My sister and I have a bichon (mix...?) named Louie. We rescued him in June of 2008 the day before my sister's birthday. When we first met him, he was so sweet, loving and only wanted to be pet. Even if that meant forcefully nudging your hand so it would be resting on his head. Honestly, he was a ragged and grey little dog that my mom thought was the ugliest thing she had ever seen. But we knew he was sent to us for a reason.

Catsith
A few months after we adopted Louie, Catsith adopted us. He climbed into my step-dad's car in front of our restaurant, rode home with him, walked into the house as if he'd lived there forever and hasn't left since. Such a bold and smart cat can only be a wizard in diguise. The name, which we didn't know had a mythological definition, randomly stuck.

Comment: I emailed both my partner and coordinator that I have not received the orange and purple inchies.I finally received a reply from my partner on Nov. 14 that my orange and purple inchies would be mailed to me that had a deadline of Nov. 3 to be mailed. I never received my purple and orange inchies. Nov. 28th I emailed both my partner and coordinator once again asking when I am going to receive my orange and purple inchies. I will not change my rating until I have received this swap. Dec. 4 and I still have not received my swap. Dec. 21 and I still have not received this swap from either my partner or the coordinator as promised. Dec. 30 and I am still waiting for this to be angeled by the coordinator. Jan. 11, 2010. Received orange and purple inchies from coordinator. Thank you so much!!

Comment: Thank you so much for the cool Disney card - my grandkids loved it too! When we lived in Calif - we would go to Disneyland at least every other year. I moved here to Washington from the Sacramento area about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I lived and worked as police/fire dispatcher in the city of Vacaville until 2002. I bought a house with my daughter and son-in-law in the Sac area. Then we moved up here. We fell in love with Lake Stevens immediately and bought a house near the lake. I have a great view of the lake from my bedroom window. I painted my room a beautiful shade of purple (on two walls) and a pretty cream color for an accent ( the other two walls) I love it - purple makes me so happy. Although i am living here in Washington, my heart is still in California! I'm still a California girl!!!

Hi, you're my partner for the swap "My swap-bot profile is a little lonely", Hi! I like some of the same rock/alternative bands that you do, including Sublime, AFI, Linkin Park - my favorite is Fiction Plane though, you should check them out. Not sure if it's your style but I love them. The lead singer is Sting's son. I don't know anything at all about Jrock, that is japanese rock right? I'm just not into Japanese anything really. Your cat has an awesome name!

my husband loved the sword of truth series too, but i haven't read it yet. i have a feeling one day i will. i usually do end up reading any series he enjoyed....
i've never been a bigg fan of orange, but that picture is awesome! i've never heard of that band, but his style is so great, I may have to become a fan of orange just because of it! anyway, Happy Swapping!!!
