Some things I love to receive through swaps:

  • Top of my list is everyday items from other countries, like supermarket flyers, take-out food menus, train/bus maps, train tickets, and coins.

  • Tea! I love different types of black and fruit tea. My latest favorite is blueberry tea, which I received in a swap. I'm not a huge fan of green tea, unless it's flavored in some way. No loose teas please.

  • Drink mixes

  • Interesting papers, embellishments, and anything else that can be used for collage.

  • Flavored lip balms (the solid kind, not pots or squeeze tubes)

  • Miniature things

  • Rubber stamps (preferably abstract shapes)

  • Small notebooks with covers (the kind that can get tossed it a bag and not get messed up)

  • Socks in a largish size, average length (ie. not knee high or really short)

  • Coasters (I don't own any but would like one nice set)

Favorite Books

Hungry Planet & Material World (by Peter Menzel), 84 Charing Cross Road, Sherlock Holmes, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, sci-fi (especially post-apocalyptic fiction).

Favorite Television

Survivorman, 1900's House (and other BBC/PBS documentaries in the same vein), Hamish Macbeth, Blackadder, The Goodies. I also love listening to BBC radio over the net...especially "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue" and "Just a Minute".

Favorite Music

Jethro Tull, Simon and Garfunkel, Kate Bush, Pink Floyd ♪ ♪ ♪

Favorite Crafts

Hand-carved stamps, ATC's, collage...and anything else involving paper or ink!
