My name is Jessi and I am 28 years old. I have a wonderful husband, a beautiful little girl and a not so little baby boy. They are my everything. I like to read a lot, do random crafty things, take tons of pictures and play video games. Nintendo DS is my drug, I mean system of choice.
My Family
Adam and I were married on April 1st 2005, yes April Fools Day. He does everything he can to support my crafty/gaming/swap-bot habits. He never tells me no even if we can't afford it so I've been trying to not go too crazy with the swaps lately. His favorite color is mint green. He likes Disney's Cars, Spongebob, growing plants, playing games on the Wii, coffee, peanut butter cups, pocky and gummi worms.
Paige is two and and was born on the 26th anniversary of Mount. St. Helen's eruption (5/18/06). (My brother told me this because his daughter was born on the same day the year before.) She loves playing with stickers and ribbons. She gets along pretty well with her brother (for now). She also likes playing with her puzzles and megablocks and sorting things by color. She loves Elmo, Abby Cadabby and It's a Big Big World.
Noah is one year old. He was born on Veteran's Day last year(11/11/08) and was 10lbs 11ozs! He loves following everybody around and crawling all over his sister. He likes anything he can chew on, especially if it's something he shouldn't have. He likes to push his toy cars around and says "vroom vroom!"
Our Pets
I have a cat named Jasmin who is 9 years old and thinks she is the queen of the house. My husband has a lovebird named Stitch and Paige has a goldfish named Nemo. No, the Disney theme was not entirely on purpose.
Chunky books/pages are my current obsession.
I love to cross stitch. I try to stick to smaller patterns so that I might actually finish them but I have a few bigger ones floating around. I don't have the attention span for the really big patterns although I really wish I did.
I've been crocheting for about 5 years. Again, I don't really have the patience for bigger projects. I have a lot of wips sitting around for both cross stitch and crochet. I seem to have a short attention span and like to jump around between different projects.
I do little bit of scrapbooking. I'd like to do more but with two sets of grabby hands around it's not easy!
I used to customize My Little Ponies but, like scapbooking, I don't have the grabby-hand free space. Someday I'll have room and time for everything!!
I got a sewing machine for Christmas last year and am teaching myself how to sew.
I will gladly do one on one swaps for just about anything, especially chunky pages, journals, profile surprises and candy.
Unfortunately this is not a good time of year for mailing chocolate.
