I live in French Guiana, South America. I arrived here 14 years ago. Before, I used to live in Normandy,France. I'm a primary school teacher.My pupils are 9 years old. I've got 3 children aged 8,5 and 3. The eldest ones are boys and the youngest is a girl. We've got 3 cats hunting lezards in the garden. I live in a small town, by the seaside. I like travelling. Each summer, we go back to France to visit family. We also try to go to Brazil once a year. I practice yoga. I like foreign languages (I studied english & spanish, but forgot half of it since i don't practice).

I must recognize that coming back from work, I'm looking forward to being in a silent environment (which is impossible with my own 3 kids !) A few things I like : Craig Armstrong, Massive Attack, U2, Coldplay...

Here again, I've got less time to read at the present time, but I used to read a lot when less busy ! I like : Stefan Sweig, William Boyd, Le Carré, Saint-Exupéry (the little prince is probably one of my favorite books), Ken Follet and many others...

I've got to think about it ! Can't remember titles right now.

I love "Will & Grace". I like "24, numbers, NCIS". I don't watch TV that much since we don't have lots of programs here.

I love fabrics. Can't help touching them while in the shop. My sewing machine is one of my best friends. Even if I'm not using it, I like to know it's in the cupboard, waiting for me to work ! I mainly make accessories and children clothes. I'm attending sewing classes to make my own clothes.

I discovered the swap universe a few months ago and I do enjoy it. Thanks to it, I discovered many blogs, and through them, interesting people. It is also very useful to create things, find new ideas... Swap-bot is GREAT.

I don't like very much plastic stuff, fabrics with hello kitty, Disney... I don't like receiving jewels because I prefer to choose them (very selective !) Same thing with perfumes!

I like cotton fabric, linen & silk as well.I like ribbons,beads... I like colours, and mixtures of colours and prints. (I used to sew quilts in another life !) I like handmade things to decorate my home which is very colourful.(jazzy colours just as the tropical flowers here). I like vintage fabrics, crockery, books... I like chocolate,no allergies to anything with sugar in it ! (unfortunately !)
