About Me

I am a stay at home mom who was an analytical chemist in my premom days. Now instead of running chemical samples I sew quilt squares. My favorite pattern right now are eye spy quilts. I have two kiddos, 7 and 8 and most of my sewing is for them. Colors they like are pink, pink, and red and purple. Fabrics I use are bright colored cottons. I especially enjoy ones with pictures on them. I don't work much with flannels, knits, or fleece.

Favorite Crafts

Crochet,Quilting, and kid friendly crafts I really enjoy making items from recycled fabric for instance making my daughter a skirt from an adult dress or finding interesting pictures on shirts for kid quilts. I am collecting washable fabrics with different textures for a kid quilt. I hope to mix lots of different textures with bright colors.

Favorite fabrics

Currently I am working on eye spy quilts and a quilt with pastel 30s fabrics. I like fabrics which have pictures of something on them. I am also collecting black, white and red fabrics for a quilt. Favorite colors any brights, blues, and yellows.

Comment: I was on vacation and came back on Monday to find this wonderful package. Love the bag and the extra little bag! So well done! I strive to get my sewing so nice. I need lots of practice! BTW, how did you get the top part of the bag so stiff? Thank you!!
Response: luluvision I used an iron on backing which said not to use with sewing because it gunks up the machines needle. I also used a stiff canvas called duck, agrees more with sewing machines. mamatoad

Comment: An awesome package arrived from you today! I love it all... the puppets were great and the hands, lightbulbs, crabs, stars and dots were my favorite fabrics. I am still trying to get the 3d postcard to work, but I see nothing. lol
