A stamp collector who has been collecting stamps for many years. Recently became postcards craze and has been actively collecting postcards lately. I am very active in postcrossing and also at a yahoo group for exchanging stamps!
I love all kinds of postcards, but my favorites would be city views, views of significant landmarks, map cards, lighthouse, mosques, landscapes, national parks, animals and flowers cards. I would be most happy if you paste nice stamps on postcards or envelopes when you sent mails to me!
Besides being absorbed with my stamps and postcards collection, I love cats too! I have 10 at the moment, 7 adults (Bubu, Nicol, Dude, Mockrun, Taehae, Blue Ivy and Kate) plus 3 naughty little kittens, i.e. Ben, Raj and Almost. They live in a double storey cat house, outside, next to my room!
10 July 2012 - My dearest cat, BUCK, passed away last night due to liver complications. It was really an emotional day for me. I have had her for more than 10 years. She is half blind, a cross breed between mainecoon and domestic cat. She was diagnosed with liver problems 2 months ago. I cried the whole night. No cat can ever replaced Buck. She left behind 2 kids - Bubu and Nicol. Alfatihah. RIP Buck.
Likes - Besides stamps and postcards, obviously I love anything with cats on them! I also love souvenirs or anything native from a country. Basically anything that tourists would normally buy, like magnets, keychains, tea towels, tote bags, stationeries, etc.
I love tea and coffee. Favorite would be fruity flavored teas and latte....yummy!!! I wish though Starbucks coffee are cheaper!!! LOL!! I don't mind chocolates and candies, as long as they don't have any alcohol or animal gelatin in them.
I don't really dislike anything but I am not quite into cute stuffs (too old for that I guess! )! I don't collect CTO stamps either...those colorful stamps you can purchase at stores. And please don't send chocs or candies with animal gelatin or alcohol in them.
Feel free to ask me for anything you want from Malaysia. Will try to help find it! You can even email me at new_rule5@yahoo.com
Malaysian singer - Anuar Zain.
Other than Anuar, I enjoy Korean and Japanese songs even if I don't understand the language!!
Mails do sometimes tend to get lost or MIA from Malaysia to anywhere on this earth, so please, please let me know if you didn't get any of my promised stuffs! Really appreciate that!
I am currently slowly trying to complete my US state map cards before I move to the rest of the world!
If you have any of the following, please pm me and maybe we can swap! Or if we are partners in postcard swaps, sending any of the following will make me love you forever!!!
Looking for:
Connecticut
Mississippi
Nevada
New Mexico
Thanks so much!!

They must flat mails not exceeding the limit set for standard mail right?
Hello Nurul. Thank you so much for the disney postcard and beautiful stamps ;) I love your handwriting Happy swapping from Portugal!
Hello Nurul :)
Thank you for being part of ASIA Republic!
Yeah, I needa buy a digital weigh to weigh my small packet before going to the post office in the future. 250g and below is only rm18 while 250g to 500g is rm30. I used to send my small packet as mail with mail rate all the time before this hike. Now. they are stricter with mail, packet and parcel. They also have different zoning for different type. Let's say mail to NZ is under Zone 2 but when it is a packet it is under Zone 3. Confusing. Our postage now is like US one though our standard of living hasn't catch up yet. Yeah, I hesitate to join swaps now. Imagine sending few tea bags with small packet rate. That is scary.
Ouch, today I sent a 270g small packet to New Zealand and it is RM30.
It was fun to put together your Happy Birthday package. All the best in your next year of philately!
wow.. omg >< where do you see postcard rate? i can't find it. thanks for letting me know. take cares.
now that's kinda a relief >.< since i do quite some postcrossing too! Sigh! Hope it doesn't get too expensive =( But thanks again for taking the trouble to share, dear! Appreciate it alot <3
