Hi!

I'm a stay at home mom to a 10th grader and an engineering student at Auburn University. We live in the south and it's a great place to live. Unfortunately it's also a very hot place to live. Hot and dry, experiencing drought conditions. A little rain would be nice.

Mostly I spend time taking care of my family and pets. I sew a lot, read a lot, go out to lunch with my friends a lot. And laundry, lots of laundry!

I like stuff I don't have to pay close attention to. The History Channel, International History Channel, Discovery Science Channel, ESPN, the Weather Channel and the Golf Channel. It's baseball season now so I'm watching the Braves. Can't wait for football.

Right now I am into bright stuff, like Kaffe Fassett. I also like batiks and stuff that has gold or silver in it. I DO NOT like novelty stuff much (although I still seem to buy it sometimes!?!). My favorite color is red. My least favorite is blue. I am working on a grandmother's flower garden quilt so old fashioned flower prints are appreciated too.

I like almost any kind of tea, coffee, or chocolate. I especially like things that are orange flavored. I am always willing to try new or different things. Given the choice, I will pick decaf or caffeine free. Send me anything unusual. I also love candy, most any kind except licorice.
