I Like:

Things handmade.

While I favor all natural, organic colors--from fabric and yarns to food. I really like bright rich colors used artistically.

Books. Almost any book but especially cookbooks, photography and art books, and good fiction. Loved "His Dark Materials."

Music. Again, just about anything as long as it is isn't too "hard" as in hard heavy metal--just not my speed. I am currently listening to baroque recorder music and american folk.

Movies (and homemade popcorn with real butter.) I am currently watching Serenity (from the Firefly series) and am waiting for El Amor Bruja to arrive--flamenco dancing is cool. Favorites include "The Godfather," "Lord of the Rings," "Groundhog Day," and "The Horse's Mouth."

My likes are pretty eclectic--but the consistency lies in the pretty, natural, fun, interesting, thoughful.

Hi, I am collecting these postcards for a boy named Luke. I would greatly appreciate it if you mentioned a little about where you live and if this is a international swap--a little phrase (with translation) in your home language --if different than english. We are collecting the postcards and marking a map so that we can learn all about our wonderful neighbors inside the United States and all around the world.
