Hi my name is Peggie. I've been swapping online for many years on various sites and I'm so happy to be a part of Swap-Bot! I enjoy creating different crafts and I'm always willing to learn something new or try something different. I'm a scrapbooker by heart. I love to cook, garden, and listen to books. I'm an avid upcycle/recycler....if I can paste it, paper it or embellish it then it shall be repurposed or reused!

Swapping is a passion I enjoy and crafting helps me with the stress in my life. I have 2 kiddos and 8 felines that I adore. I have one grumpy hubby, who I've been dealing with for 19 years, and more friends online than I have in person.

I'm not a picky person, I like just about anything! If I don't like something (which is rare), I always have someone who will take it off my hands ;)

I LOVE Antique stores and flea markets...I'm always looking for old catalogs, dictionaries, music, or books in other languages.

Styles that I like: steampunk, anything vintage, victorian, shabby chic, gothic/dark, americana, whimsy, western (old cowboy), ancient artifact, earthy, tribal, vintage circus (NO clowns!)

I'm not really into: cutsey, country, psyco-delic or anything religious

MY LIKES: Bright colors (think elementary school), earthy tones(fall and autumn colors), deep rich colors (think royalty). My fav colors are yellow, pink, and green (my crafty space are these colors) or brown and cream (what I create is usually these colors).

I'm always happy to receive:

*Postcards that are filled out (unless they are vintage and they don't need to be)

*Handmade postcards and stationary my favorite theme is Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton perferred)

• Anything for my cats or anything that have cats on it or are cat shaped--especially magnets--I collect them!

• Anything Halloween (my fav holiday) I have skulls, black cats, goblins, gargoyles, and witch hats in my crafty space

• embossing powder in gold, black, silver or any other color

• stickles in diamond or dark rich colors

• dimensional stickers--LOVE

• glue dots

• small metal picture frames

• empty and/or altered altoid tins

• empty and/or altered mini boxes

• anything Tim Holtz

• Mini Albums--already made or chipboard albums

• bling of any kind

• Stationary Sets

• old dictionaries, catalogs (1950's and older) or books in other languages

• Cookbooks or recipes (no hand-written please)

• handmade soap

• tea (I'm not into fruity teas, more of an earl grey gal but will always give something new a try)

• small purses

• altered items

• jewelry store-bought or handmade especially anything made with beads! (I don't make jewelry, but I would love to learn)

  *inspirational wall hangings

  *ribbon, lace, dyed seam binding

  *vintagey stamps

  *bug/gardening items (very fond of metal!)

  *hand sanitizers in a citrus or vanilla smell or no smell

  *socks--mid calf or ankle--I'm a sock hoarder

I'm not a country music fan....sorry but true....Taylor Swift is as country as I can get! I'm more of an alternative/pop/rock music kinda gal.... Depending on my mood, I sometimes like Lady Gaga or Bon Jovi, but I'd rather listen to: The Pretty Reckless, Shinedown, Hollywood Undead, Rob Zombie, Sixx: A.M., Papercut Massacre, Rock Mafia, Sugar Red Drive....you get the picture

I LOVE the Big Bang Theory...I stumbled acrossed it on TBS and always get a kick out of it. I complain about reality t.v.... but find it's very addicting...some of my favorite shows include: storage wars, parking wars, shipping wars (notice a war theme?) The Biggest Loser, Gold Rush Alaska, Bering Sea Gold, Dirty Jobs (love that Mike Rowe) I enjoy HGTV and Food Network to kick the blahs...get some mojo

Can I just say anything altered on YouTube...one of my favorite sites is Laura at Follow the PaperTrail I love mini albums! I find it's so easy to print a picture and just insert it in and voila you're done! I still have my 12x12 albums, but they take up alot of space and though they are my favorite thing to create, the mini's are my obsession right now!

I'm a total sci-fi geek!! I grew up on Star Trek, Star Wars, and RoboTech.

I LOVE anything Star Wars or Star Trek!!
