*Please, please, PLEASE, on the very rare chance that you do not receive something from me, email me so we can work it out...Thanks!
I talk with animals for a living (yes, really) and live in the beautiful foothills of the Sangre de Christo mountains in Santa Fe, New Mexico with my beloved husband Tom (you know him as Starweaver), 13 year old step-daughter Anne-Marie (part-time) and various kitties who come to the door looking for a handout, which we naturally give them. :)
I'm currently going to photography school so these days you will mostly find me in photography swaps as it seems I have set my drawing/crafting on the sidelines for now and focusing on my camera. (get it...focusing...camera...ahem...)
I love anything that has to do with animals of ANY sort and/or nature items as well. (yes, I'm a treehugger...no...really...okay...have you ever hugged a tree? Awesome...)
Favorite colors are COPPER, violet, browns, greens...anything earthy.
I was an antique dealer for many years, so victorian era and ladies are a favorite too.
OH! I almost forgot...and how could I...ravens, frogs and dragonflies...love 'em! :)
About food...I am a vegan, so all dairy products are out, such as milk chocolate. However, DARK chocolate is a personal favorite and always welcome...hint, hint...
I really do enjoy all types of music.
Anything with Katherine Hepburn or Johnny Depp. A big fan of documentaries, indies, foreign films and most anything from the metaphysical/spiritual cinema genre.
Too many to mention, but most recent favs are, The Last Mimzy, The Story of the Weeping Camel, My Neighbor Totoro, Lady in the Water and Legend of 1900.
ATC's (animals, nature and zetti are my current favorites), photography, metals, jewelry/beading, woodworking, mosaics and just about anything that allows me to use my hands. (But I need more time, time, time!!!)

Thank you for the surprise photos! Yesterday was a kind of rocky day for me, so an extra pick-me-up in the mail was especially appreciated. And your alteration of the photos is so fine-tuned! The horse has such a painterly quality, and the geese--wow, I am so glad to have this photo..... Thanks again.
Thank you very much for my wta photo AND the magnet. Both are beautiful! You are very talented!!!!

Hello. I just got your cards. As I said , theyare my favorites. I was wondering--how you did the technique around the outside of the card? Is it simply mettalic marker? I noticed this on many of my cards and I like that extra touch!
Hi animalchatter! Just had to drop you a line to say thank you so very much for the wonderful package! It arrived earlier today and I decided to "save" it for a treat tonight- and I'm so glad I did, I was so taken by your pocket ATC and could only marvel at the extra goodies! Thanks for such a wonderful surprise at the end of a very long day! lori eb.
