I live, love, work and play in Washington DC right next door to the White House! By day I am a legal advocate for victims of sexual violence and human trafficking. By night I am a fantasy junkie with an unhealthy obesssion with Harry Potter and Lost. I take improv classes and play in a bocce league. I have a wonderful boyfriend named Will (some of my wishes are for him) who I have wild and crazy adventures with. I am a little flirty, a little dirty, and a little nerdy!
Fleetwood Mac, Cowboymouth, The Smiths, Rx Bandits,The Cure, David Bowie, The Clash, The New Pornographers, Duran Duran, A Perfect Circle, Indigo Girls, Queen, Led Zepplin, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Van Halen, Ani Difranco, Toad the Wet Sprocket, The Who, Josh Ritter, The Decemberists, The Postal Service, Arcade Fire, Belle and Sebastian, Regina Spektor, Vienna Teng
Harry Potter, Lolita, The Great Gatsby, His Dark Materials, Bridge to Terebithia, Disposable People, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick, Stupid White Men, Twilight, The Handmaid's Tale, Ender's Game
All Wes Anderson films, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Being John Malcovich, Ameile, But I'm a Cheerleader, Donnie Darko, Dreamgirls, all Mel Brooks, Stage Beauty, Juno and I absolutely LOVE documentaries on all topics, especially social/political issues.
Overall I have a bright and funky asthetic. My apartment is decorated with artifacts from my travels- African, Asian and South American themes- and original artwork of friends and myself. I usually wear vintage-inspired clothes with jewel tones and unusual jewelry pieces. I am a HUGE foodie and love both sweet and savory unusual and gormet treats.
Food Sensitivities: I am lactose intolerant, but fresh dairy products usually don't mail well, so it shouldn't be a concern. Dairy cooked or baked in things (like cookies or cheese straws) is fine, but I can't eat fresh cheese, milk or ice cream.
