I love to sew and make quilts.

I joined swap-bot because I like fabric and want to see what fabrics everyone else likes.

I like the idea of being able to swap with people from all over the world. I like to know the areas where people live, their customs and their cities. I am fasinated with pictures from foreign places. It makes me realize the world is so huge but yet so small.

I am semi-retired and used to work in the office of a manufacturing plant. I have a wonderful husband who tolerates my addiction to fabric (he calls himself a 'quilt widow').

I am also a proud Grandma to 2 little girls.

For the past 4 or 5 years I have been entering a quilt or two (or three) in the local county fair. I have a lot of Blue ribbons (first place) and Red ribbons (second place) that I am very proud of.

I love the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich. They are so funny you laugh out loud. I also read Danielle Steel, Diane Mott Davidson (Goldy Bear novels), and Joanne Fluke.

The more fabric the better!!! I always send 100% good-quality cotton fabric and that is what I would like to receive.

I LOVE chocolate. Dark Chocolate the best, but any kind of chocolate will do. I love fruity flavors but ... Please...NO coconut!
