About Me
...I love running, always training for a marathon... Really into photography, especially black and white... I love crochet and knitting...My job involves babies, so I love to make baby things, especially preemie hats....other than crafts, traveling is my biggest passion, and my favorite trip was the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu...I am fluent in Spanish...I used to live in Mexico and my parents live there now... I love everything Mexican... I collect Mexican folk art, and my favorite is anything with Virgin de Guadalupe images. For swaps, I enjoy receiving handmade items of all kinds...I like everything....no dislikes. Its fun to see what other people have come up with! I'm new to quilting....but it's going well and I'm officially obsessed!
Favorite Music
eclectic... latin... country... americana... folk pop... indy... contemporary christian...just about everything. I'm partial to Mana, Diego Torres, Norah Jones, Mary Black, Bebo Norman, Mat Kearney, Ryan Adams, Sarah Bettens....the only thing I don't like is hip-hop. I started guitar lessons last fall, and I love flamenco, bluegrass, and folk tunes....anything acoustic.

ATCs, shrines, collage... anything that involves scissors and glue! Rubber stamping, especially hand-carved! Just discovered dotees...

Going through the list of Pulitzer Prize Fiction...I have them all with some doubles if anyone wants to swap :-)
Currently reading "Ten Thousand Acres"...Next goal will be "1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die"...
Love anything by Steinbeck
Latest fave is "Shantaram," by Gregory David Roberts.
I read all kinds of fiction. Not interested in self-help, memoirs, or non-fiction.
