I am a 35-year-old married mom of 2. I have a full-time job in the financial services industry, and I spend all my spare time ("ALL", ha) in the craft room because if I don't create something for more than 2-3 days I start to go a little crazy. Also, sending and receiving mail is easily in my top 5 favourite things. Lately all the cards I make have seemed to include some colouring, because colouring makes me happy!

How do I decide which are my favourites?? I love to read; I have a bootleg library card that I'm not entitled to and I use it like a glutton. I read mostly mysteries and fiction, and some of my favorite authors are Janet Evanovich, John Sandford and John Connolly.

I make greeting cards, postcards, scrapbook pages, and I keep an art journal. I love my prisma pencil crayons and my watercolour pencils more than anything, and I do a little bit of (not very good) photography. Mail art has always been a passion of mine, and while most of my friends and relatives are a little amused by what I send them, they're not really into sending anything back. Horrors! That's what I come here for. I've also been working a lot in my art journal, not to mention collecting books about art journals and empty journals and sketchbooks!

While I don't watch a lot of tv (I'd really rather be in the craft room) I do enjoy DIY shows, and also sitcoms, and my first choice - stand-up comedy. I don't like to watch anything heavy or doom-and-gloom; also I never watch the news because it scares the crap out of my kids. And me.
