About Me
I am a 38-year-old married mom of 2. I have a full-time job in the financial services industry, and I spend all my spare time ("ALL", ha) in the craft room because if I don't create something for more than 2-3 days I start to go a little crazy. Also, sending and receiving mail is easily in my top 5 favourite things.
Favorite Books
How do I decide which are my favourites?? I love to read; I have a bootleg library card that I'm not entitled to and I use it like a glutton. I read mostly mysteries and fiction, and some of my favorite authors are John Sandford, Malcolm Gladwell and Robert B. Parker
Favorite Crafts
I make postcards, mail art, and I keep an art journal. I love my prisma pencil crayons and my watercolour pencils more than anything, except maybe for my pelikan watercolours. Mail art has always been a passion of mine, and while most of my friends and relatives are a little amused by what I send them, they're not really into sending anything back. Horrors! That's what I come here for. I've also been working a lot in my art journal, not to mention collecting books about art journals and empty journals and sketchbooks!
Favorite Television
While I don't watch a lot of tv (I'd really rather be in the craft room) I do enjoy stand-up comedy. And I love True Blood and Weeds. Also I never watch the news because it scares the crap out of my kids. And me.

You need to make some more friends. Or even enemies. I am nearly the only comment-er!! I got my awesome birthday card and forgot to tell you. It made me smile. I have been sending out some letters of awesomeness (mostly just made of trash... that's what makes them awesome, not the contents)... you'd be proud. I'll have to send you one sometime!
That is really a large hamster ice cream cone. You can delete it if you want to. :)
Oops, I meant to add that in 20 minutes it is my birthday, and I will be reading it then!!
OH!! I got the journal today!!! Haven't read it because my glasses were nowhere to be seen and I was literally in the middle of cooking dinner, but I stopped long enough to rip the package open and flip through, and eat some chocolate!!! I LOVE the pattern being used for tissue!!! I coopy all of your fun ideas, and then I look SO creative!!
