My name is Jen and I work as a butcher. I don't have much free time but when I do I like to spend it knitting, sleeping, reading and eating and thinking about yarn. I have 2 dogs (1 chihuahua and 1 pitt bull) and 1 cat.
I've recently gotten it into my head that I need to learn how to spin yarn.
I'll read just about anything from Henry Miller (my favorite) and Baudelaire to the latest Harlequin romance books and chick lit.
I have too many magazine subscriptions (mostly fashion) and I love comic books.
Platoon, Dirty Dancing, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Reality Bites, Full Metal Jacket, Before Sunrise, Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings, Die Hard, The Matrix, The Secret Life of Altar Boys, Ghost World, Batman Dark Knight, Sex and the City, Bridesmaids.....
Please note: I adore and appreciate all things handmade. Whether it's a creative ATC/PC to a knitted pair of socks, I'll love it if it's done with care and love.
Good colors: Turquoise, purples, blues, olive green, black, grey, browns, orange, sunshine yellow, avocado green, pinks,
Not into pastel or neon colors much unless it's baby blues and soft greens.
Other things I Love: - Yarns (not cheapy cheap yarns, but I don't mind the odd acrylic every now and then)

Embroidery, knitting, crochet supplies
Re-useable shopping bags (handmade or bought)
Teas (preferably not brands I could just by at my local grocery store...imported is always nice.)

Old found love letters
Antique toothpick holders
Asian ceramic cats/birds
