I Live in Chester County,(Tennessee) where I have a deep admiration and love for the people in my community. For those in my cyber community I have a blog (Lisa Peter) on everyones connected. I don't have a mySpace. I figured one web log was enough to keep up with. I am married to Rev. T. Mark Peter and we have 3 beautiful nearly grown daughters (21, 18, 17). I enjoy crafts, writing and music. I am addicted to Swap Bot. Can't get anything else done but swap. LOL

P.S. I am allergic to Chocolate and hate strong odors like cleaning supplies and perfumes and colognes. I am afraid of heights, do not know how to swim, do like to travel occasionally, but mostly like to stay at home. I don't do a lot of house cleaning. I like things organized and neat but I am afraid I would get an F if I was graded for scrubbing floors and dusting. (in my earlier days I worked at public and school libraries, in Activities at Nursing Homes, as a paraprofessional in public schools and as a teacher and secretary in Christian schools and as everything in Home School). Currently: I teach private music lessons (piano, guitar and dulcimer and voice) - right now I have 10 students a week but that jumps up to 35 during the school months. I also teach sign language classes - individual or group (ASL). And I am an educational interpreter at our local College. (this averages about 11 hours a week). I also interpret church services on Sunday evenings for one deaf man at Calvary Church Ministries in Jackson TN. And I play the piano for a country church on Sunday Mornings. (Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Chester County).

I am a singer/songwriter. I play piano, accordion, organ, guitar, drums, dulcimer. I enjoy many varities of music. But my favorite genre is gospel. I would rate myself on the low end of the scale in abilites as both a singer and a musician, but my voice is soft and sweet and the songs I play are recognizable. The songs I write, I would say are top notch, because I know who gave them to me. Actually, God is also the one who gave me all of my music ablities, so I can't complain.

I like the Notebook. Anne of Green Gables, Facing the Giants, One Night with the King... Gaither Homecoming videos.

Food channel, travel channel, Hallmark, some game shows like LINGO and Chain Reaction. Trivia. I Hate violence, hate vulgar, hate programs that put down all that America stands for and makes fun of God and Christianity. I do like the geico commercials because they are so stupid. Love both the Gekko and the cave men... lol....

sewing, mixed media, paper crafts. Altered books, ATC's, handmade paper, Crazy quilts, redwork, photo transfer, dolls, fabric yo yo's, embellishments, charms, (I don't think there is any art or craft I don't like..) would like to learn crochet, knitting, silk ribbon embroidery,how to make handmade soaps,and handmade paper, etc. I would have to list purple as one of my favorite colors, but I really couldn't choose just one fav. I love all the colors of the rainbow and of every hue. I am fascinated by the blends and variety of just how many combinations have been discovered and how many more seem to evolve on a rapid basis. I have a collection of angels, grand pianos, music boxes, snowmen, lighthouses, Star shaped items. I love nature, want to learn how to garden (is there such a thing as indoor attic gardening? I would like to know about how I could do that, like dry herbs or something, also.)
I like to try to make every minute of every day count for something. I don't like to waste time and I have never ever really been 'bored'.

I am a dreamer: If I was to compare myself to someone in the Bible, it would have to be Joseph first (because of being a dreamer, and David second, because of my song writing). I want my life to be like the Proverbs 31 description of a virtuous lady.

I am of a member of the United Pentecostal Church International (have been all of my life) and I hope to someday have a HazelwoodUSA theme park (currently I am working on a virtual one, but would love to have an actual one where people could take vacations and all that good camp meeting type of stuff. "Enter Any Denomination, Exit An Apostolic") I need to learn more about website design. Would love to know how to do streaming and have my own radio station. I dabble in a whole lot of various things, but would love to become proficiant at all of it. I am an Author of "Lyrics and Poems: The Melody Of My Soul volume one and volume two". The New Dimension Family Band (our family CD) is now available. You can't imagine how much trouble we had getting this put together.. The studio guy didn't show up for one of our sessions, they didn't save the vocal on another of our sessions. They misspelled our Band name on the first cover - and they still have some typo's on our 2nd cover. But I am done with trying to get it right. I just praise God that it turned out as good as it did, and now I have my whole family recorded to CD before they all go leaving the nest. We have 100 CD's that we can sell so first come first served. they are $18 each plus $2 S&H. email me for more information. (I wrote all of the songs on the CD.)
