Hi, my name's Lorraine and I'm 44 y/o. My friends actually call me Rainy, so be my guest and do just that! I'm actually a California born native, but now living in the wonderful mid-west state of Missouri. St. Charles, MO to be exact. My family loves the seasons here, I think we all love Winter the best, I know crazy - We love the snow!! I could do without the humidity.. but thats only a few days at a time.

I've been married to my husband Ed, of 21+ years, whom I met on a blind date through a mutual friend, we married 2-months later on Valentine's Day when we eloped to Las Vegas, NV.

We have three boys together, Michael, 17 y/o, in High School (Jr.). He has a diagnosis of aspergers/autism disorder, he's doing very well with it all. He knows what he has, and deals with it. He has a wonderful school support system and this makes for a better schooling experience for him. He's doing just awesome in HS. Our middle son Jayson is 10 y/o and in his last year at the elementary (5th grade) school level. Our youngest Joey is 7 y/o, he is deaf in one ear, but this doesn't seem to phase him at all. I am very involved with my boys, and am at each of their schools atleast once a week.

As for music, gosh I love pretty much most music.. I don't care for rap, its too rude for me - IMHO. I also don't listen to that head banging metal..

I've recently read books by Augusten Burroughs, he's an aquired taste its all self explanation. His Running w/Scissors was a very explicit book, but I think that book explains the rest of his books he writes. I did enjoy DRY also by him.

I have on my shelf next to read a book written by his Autistic brother called Look Me in the Eye: My Life with Asperger's
