I Pledge to Rate !!
I always rate fairly. I will always rate a swap I receive within one day of getting my swap. You can always PM me if you have questions.
I'm not an-over swapper, I take on only what I think I can do at any one time and expect of my swapping partners to do the same. I obsess over my swaps until they are sent out. Kinda OCD like that. I will always be ON-time and unless I have some "uncontrollable" reason, like the earth is coming to an end or something, I'd always let you know "no matter" what !
As a member of the Swap-Bot Flaker group and seeing firsthand the amount of flakers on here. If I do not get any contact whatsoever prior to a swap being due I will rate you a 3 (sorry) thats how it has to be, no matter what. If you contact me prior to the due date we can surely work something out.
My name's Lorraine and I'm 47 y/o. My friends actually call me Rainy, so be my guest and do just that! I'm a Southern California born native, now living in the mid-west state of Missouri for 14 years and counting.
My family loves the seasons - my favorite season is SNOW.. call me crazy. We love to storm chase as well in the Spring ! I'm not much for the humidity of our Summers ! I could do without it.
I've been married to my husband Ed for 24+ years, whom I met on a blind date through a mutual friend, we married 2-months later on Valentine's Day when we eloped in Las Vegas, NV.

We have three boys together, Michael, 20 y/o, attending Community College, and working part-time for a local deli. He has a diagnosis of Aspergers/Autism disorder, he's doing very well with it all, he's high functioning. He knows what he has, and deals with it. Our middle son Jayson is 13 y/o, Honor Roll Student entire 6th & 7th grade years, and still going ! I'm so proud of him. He has occassional body tics that seem to raise their ugly little head when he begins to stress out over things. He plays the clarinet in 8th Grade Band and Jazz band, and auditioning for District Band (11/5). Our youngest Joseph, or "Joey" is 10 y/o, and has SSD, Single-Sided Deafness. He is deaf in the right ear, but this doesn't seem to phase him at all. I am very involved with my boys, PTO Volunteer, class mom, Cafe Volunteer, class parties, school projects, Field Trips, etc.
Wow.. music, gosh I love pretty much most music.. I don't care for rap, its too rude for me - IMHO. I also don't listen to that head banging metal..
Some of my favorites: Adam Lambert ~ Casting Crowns ~ Francesca Battistelli ~ the Fray ~ Green Day ~ Lady Antibellum ~ Michael W Smith ~ the Newsboys ~ OneRepublic ~ PINK ~ Revive ~ Rob Thomas ~ Sammy Hagar ~ Sidewalk Prophets ~ Most 80's Music (Morrissey, Culture Club, Berlin, The Cure, Depeche Mode, OMD, Souxsie and the Banshees, New Order, DuranDuran, Thompson Twins, and Pat Benetar ) and of course all that other stuff that's clogging my tiny little iPod.

Thanks so very much
for the great assortment of postcards you sent me for the USA swappers group tag! I particularly like the "Big Girl Baking Co." card:)
Thank you for the scrabble tiles from my January wish list. I can't wait to play with them. :)
I was a little worried we'd end up partnered in the notebook penpal swap! ;)
Thank you so much for the list of movies and the pack of gum, much appreciated! I'm also not a fan of Jolie or her hubby!
Merry Christmas from Down Under!
