I am a retired Baby Boomer. I belong to Curves, a book group and a quilt guild. Online, I belong to Goodreads, Postcrossing and a few quilting forums. My husband and I have been happily married for 38 years.We have two grown sons whom we see often.
Blue is my favorite color, followed by green. Batiks are my favorite fabric.
We enjoy traveling whenever we can. Our house has a lot of fishy decor because my husband loves to fish for trout. We are a pet free, smoke free household. We do and have loved pets, but not these days.
Favorite Crafts
Quilting is my main passion. I also love knitting. I enjoy making quilts for family and the area hospital. Photography has been a long time hobby. I like making postcards with my photos. My favorite designers are Mark Lipinski, Patrick Lose and Kaffe Fassett.
Favorite Books
Murder mysteries are my favorite. I belong to a book group and we read general fiction. I also enjoy thrillers. Authors I love are Michael Connelly, Harlan Coben. Robert Crais, Linwood Barkley and Marie Bostwick. I belong to Goodreads online so if you also belong, please friend me there.
Favorite Television
We are watching morning talk shows, NCIS, CSI, the Mentalist, Elementary, Person of Interest and Bones. I record quilting and knitting shows. Love my DVR!
Favorite Movies
Romantic comedies are at the top of the list but I find mysteries intriguing. I go to the movies in the theater a few times a month.
Favorite Postcards
I usually do postcard swaps. I love to get mail that isn't junk or bills. So if you have available the following, I would appreciate them. Otherwise, any postcard is welcome. State Map cards - I am starting a collection! - water scenes - fish (for hubby) - local landmarks or scenery - National Parks - UNESCO World Heritage sites - animals

When I rated for the swap, I forgot to reply to your question about where I am living. Well, my permanent residence is in Idaho, but during the winter my husband and I "go south" for a few weeks and I change my address hoping to keep the snail mail coming. Note that my address is now back to Idaho!!
