I live in the Portland area of Oregon. I love to travel and love animals. I also love cooking, mostly appetizers and desserts. However lately I have gotten into baking cupcakes and cakes. I love to decorate them and have been fortunate to receive a cupcake decorating book as well as finding a few great websites that show examples. I dont have alot of the utensils needed for this type of thing, but am working on it.

I have also started catering alot more parties for friends; birthday parties, weddings, etc.

My favorite colors are purple and deep blue. I am not much into jewlery, but I do love inexpensive necklaces, clip on earrings, and bracelets. I think my favorite store is Bed, Bath, and Beyond, or any baking/decorating store.

I am also a very amature photographer. I have taken one class, but love to learn about tips and techniques to photography, especially landscape pictures.

  • If you have any unwanted buffet utensils (tongs, large spoons, etc) I am catering more parties lately and these types of things would be very much appreciated.
  • Anything you think could be used for a catered buffet.
  • Plastic icing bags
  • Any type of cookbook (preferably with pictures)
  • Small notebooks
  • Candles (tealights or any type of candle)
  • Picture frames
  • 2-cup or larger measuring cup
  • Quick dry nail polish (top coat, or anything not too "pinky")
  • Any cooking/baking magazines (except Taste of Home)
  • Any old issues of National Geographic, Discover, Time, or Psychology Today magazines
  • Any fun baking gadgets or decorations
  • Anything handmade by you..since I am not a crafty person, it will be all the more appreciated since I will be highly impressed by it
  • Hot chocolate (plain or flavored, just no fruit flavors please)

Not only do I love what you sent its all useable, you really put the frosting on the cupcake. Where did you find all those baking cups? I have never seen such a assortment of colors and all the cupcake notecards thanks you deserve extra hearts....

Comment: Everything in the package is just perfect! I really need a small travel bag so thanks a lot for it and the lotions are a great bonus. Very cute wrapping paper and nice ribbon to go along with it. The tags are just adorable. I don't know if I can wait to eat the candy but it will be very nice to tuck away in my carry on. Oh, and my Gizmo says thanks you very much for the squeaky toy!
