24yr old living on the outskirts of a city that is growing too big for its britches. I share a comfortable apartment with a nerd that I love with all of my heart, a daschund named after the greek god of light, and a fifty-five gallon fishtank full of loaches and pink kissing gourami. Work sees me at a desk of purple and grey in a medical office. Afterwards, I am a student majoring in good ol' business administration. Beyond that, though, and where one will find the good stuff, I am a bookworm, a music game fanatic, hazel-eyed, tamagotchi-loving, hair-metal-rockin', scribbling in one of a hundred notebooks, mega-organized, list-making lady who likes a whole lot of different stuff.

Papercrafts. Making something out of nothing--recycling. Decor. Light sewing, clothing reconstruction. Mailart, ATC making, postcard-making. I would like to learn about dollmaking, woodworking, and jewelrymaking. I'd like to make a dotee doll but they look sort of intimidating, and I've created my first felt stuffie for a recent swap (a fried egg. yum!). Currently I am making things with the ten computer keyboards that I miraculously acquired recently. I'm also searching for a used blender so I can get back to papermaking.

Reading: Animal Dreams, Barbara Kingsolver. Tales of Burning Love, Louise Erdrich. Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned, Walter Mosley. I enjoy medical-environment-based fiction, journal-style novels, and every so often intensely long series of soft, wordy sci-fi. I have been reading constantly this year, and am always open to suggestions. I am on goodreads.com as breaunna, and paperbackswap as breaunna k. Currently I am reading lots about zen and people skills.

Listening: Rush, Judas Priest, Patsy Cline, Dream Theater, Helen Love, Le Tigre. I have a supreme fondness for early-nineties rap, "play what we want" radio randomness, and party channels that play Montell Jordan and "Too Close."
