Hi! My name is Shannon. I'm a 24 year old living in sunny Orlando, Florida. I am a full-time PhD student and graduate teaching assistant at the University of Central Florida. I currently work at a funeral home, and have for the past 6 years... It's a very unique job and it completely fascinates me! It is very hard to define me, and I'd prefer if no one tried to. I have 2 UV ink tattoos (they glow under blacklight!) and tons of piercings, but they’re all hidden! I have a red-eared slider turtle named Casket- he and I are the only members of my little family :)

I know that this may make me seem strange, but my favorite topic is death, I am completely fascinated by serial killers and mass murderers. I am studying the sociology of death and dying, and am currently writing my thesis on the stigmatization of deathcare workers. I collect books, movies, and anything and everything to do with morbid subjects. Sorry if that's creepy to you, but it interests me. I hope to do research in the field to prevent future crimes.

Usually people are shocked to hear my LEAST favorite band list: Alicia Keys, Creed, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coheed &Cambria, and Metallica.

I love action, suspense, mystery, comedy, and horror… and I LOVE zombie movies and everything gory. I’m not a fan of sad movies or too many chick flicks. I love Christina Ricci and Angelina Jolie, and I love everything they're in. Some of my favorite movies are:
