My name is Mel. I am 33 and married to a wonderful man. We have been together for 14 years and I cherish everyday with him.

My beautiful Rottweiler recently passed away. He was only 6 years old. Rottweilers are the most beautiful and amazing breed of dog.

I now have another Rottweiler. He is still a pup. His name is Tyson and I have dedicated a blog to him.

I love literally everything to do with Rottweilers!

I have recently started my own Hand dyed needlework fabric company called Colours of the Outback. I mainly dye for myself and mates.

I live in Bunbury which is in Southwest Western Australia. Our house is right near the beach.

I firmly believe in the motto 'treat others the way you would like to be treated".

As I live in Australia, please allow approx 2 weeks for swaps to get to other countries. It often takes a week or so but can sometimes take longer. My swaps are always sent by the due date. Any really. I like all sorts but my favourite band of all time is Guns n Roses.

Crime novels. My favourite authors are Patricia Cornwell and Sue Grafton. I love reading any crime novels, including true crime stories.

My favourite movie is Rocky Horror Picture Show. I usually watch action or comedies

My favourite television shows are The Royle Family, Shameless,Spaced, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Ab Fab, Hells Kitchen, Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, Outrageous Fortune(NZ show), Kath and Kim, Common as Muck, Friends, Seinfeld, My name is Earl, CSI, NCIS, Dirty Sexy Money, In Plain Sight, The Amazing Race, Dexter and any english sitcoms. I love crime shows. I recently watched The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole again. I loved it as a kid

Cross stitch. LOVE IT. I stitch mainly fairies, mermaids, animals. But love doing cross stitch. I normally stitch on hand dyed fabric. Whilst I love hand dyeds, I have started my own Hand dyed needlework fabric company so I don't really stitch on other hand dyed fabrics apart from my own. However, plain white fabric is always appreciated. I prefer any count of linen but only 28 count evenweave. I stitch with DMC floss and love hand dyed floss. I like to knit also, but am still learning even after knitting for over a year. Have tried dotees and also attempted a matchbox.

I love Rottweilers (have a beautiful Rottie) and Pure white bullterriers (had 2 pure whites that sadly passed away), Mermaids, Fairies,Candles, Lip Balm or gloss, Note Pads, Stationary and my husband. I love anything to do with the ocean(water, islands, marine life, coral, shells.)
