Revamping the profile soon....

I live in Fresno, California and have been here all my life. I'm currently a student going back to school to get some classes out of the way so I can do the RN program. I am a mommy to 2 beautiful little girls and wife to a wonderful husband. My other children include 2 Siberian cats, 2 St. Bernard's, and a pound rescue who is my favorite :) I enjoy moderating for a few groups, including Freecycle. I play roller derby and absolutely love it!!

Dave Mathews, Sublime, UB40, Counting Crows, Pearl Jam, John Mayer, pretty much anything with a good beat.

Don't have any favorite books at the moment but I love the Tao of Pooh. One day I'll have time to read again :)

I love the cinema and watching movies! I have many favorites a few are The Sandlot, Jerry McGuire, Phenomenon, Philadelphia, Die Hard or Die Trying, 7 pounds, Food Inc, Religulous...

I don't watch too much TV but I love House, lie to me, and family guy. Plus you can't beat a good NOVA special :)

I love participating in swaps, they are so fun and exciting. I recently taught myself how to knit and enjoying trying to tackle new projects. My next project will be a pair of socks. I also crochet but it has been a while so I am rusty.

My favorite colors are neutrals blues, greens, black, and browns, but do not discriminate. I love a good walk in the sun in the fall or spring, nothing puts me in a better mood. I love ignoring housework to play with my children, I love their innocence. I love being physically active, though its been a few weeks as the holidays put me in a rut I'm still trying to get out of. I hate people who make turns in their cars from the middle of the road and not next to the curb. I don't like it when people smoke near children or myself. I dislike pickles, coconut, and hot sauce.
