Well I've been laying low for a while due to being flaked on in quite a few public swaps or having flakers within my swaps but I'm back!

Hi, my name is Kim. I don't have a creative SIDE...I have a creative WHOLE! If you can make it, I have either tried to make it or at least want to try to make it. I enjoy making soap, throwing pottery, painting, mixed media collage and just recently lamp-working (making glass beads.)

I am a kindergarten teacher at a creative arts school. I absolutely love working with children! They have tons of creativity compared to most adults and I wish it wasn't so easy to lose in the process of growing up.

I have tons of obscure hobbies and my favorite is making soap. I have found a local market within shops and farmer's markets. Can you tell I like to stay pretty busy?

This spring, I just celebrated my 4th anniversary with my wonderful husband. We both have an artistic side and a quirky nerd side. We liked all that stuff that all the hipsters are into before it was "cool."

Unfortunately I have to say on most days I like my cats more than most humans. We have four cats now. Three tuxedo cats (Rudy, Rocket and Lilly) and a kitten named Pinky from a litter we found and rescued this summer.

We also have a Treeing Walker Coonhound named Daisy. She is also a rescue animal. I am a huge advocate of rescuing animals.

We don't have any human children...yet. Not that I don't like children. (I am a kindergarten teacher.) Maybe one day when I slow down enough to think about it?

• Disposable Products (Do Earth a favor and reuse the bubble mailers we send each other thigns in!)
• Over Processed Foods (Pretty much foods with tons of ingredients you can't pronounce when you read the label!)
• Cockroaches! (EEK...But seriously who would send one!)
• Anything dark or depressing.
• Things that are just too generic.
• Anything containing meat or geletin. (I recently became a vegetarian. Dairy/Eggs/Honey are okay.)

I generally like to stay away from foods that contain gelatin due to the fact that I'm trying to give up meat and animal products.

Use caution when sending me candy in the summer. It's best not to send during the summer months because the heat will melt the chocolate. (Sept. through April are usually cooler and safe!)

I am primarily a vegetarian. I have really been focusing on giving up meat for good so if I enter any swaps for food, I wouldn't be all that into meat or gelatin.
