Comment: AWESOME SWAP! i admit it, i smelled the laces to see if they were strawberry-scented ... my son thought i was ridiculous for thinking they would be. i love them and am putting them in my work shoes to show them off. i'm going to glue a magnet on the 'shroom and display it proudly on the refrigerator! you did a great job with the beads for your first time with them ... they can be tricky. i'm trying to think of something creative to do with the stickers, but haven't yet ... i'll keep you posted on that one. this swap made my day, i so so SO miss getting mail like this, i don't know why i stopped for so long. we'll swap again soon if you're up for it - this was great, Sal <3
Response: FANTASTIC! I am so pleased you liked the swap, it really was fun to get into packing a little parcel up again! (..I also gave the laces a sneaky sniff in the shop too xD..) Why thank you! I hope to master this perler bead skill sometime soon :3 It'll look good as a magnet, so the smooshed side can be hidden ^^ (Always up for a fun swap!)
Comment: WOWI!!! I am so glad we swapped LOL so I woke up sick today and had to go to class, but saw that the mail lady had come. I saw your parcel and I am so glad I grabbed it last minute. Here I am in class and everyone is like SO jealous : D THANK YOU! SO thoughtful! I see all your effort and care and thoughtfulness! All the best!
Response: Oh you are more than welcome!! In the end I enjoyed trailing about the charity shops :3 And it's funny that you made your classmates jealous with the parcel ^^ Pleased it cheered you up on a day you felt ill on too, hope you are feeling better now and thanks very much for the lovely rating!
Comment: Hi Sal,
You had Matilda who was a quiet girl who loved books; mine was Jo in Little Women, a not so quiet girl who loved books and didn't like girly things! Different generations, same need for characters we could identify with. Thanks for the Roald Dahl card -- I like it!
Response: Thank you for the lovely rating, I am glad you enjoyed the postcard! It is nice to hear that you had a character to identify with too :) I haven't read Little Women, but my childhood best friend adored it
Comment: Thank you SO MUCH for the long and very interesting letter. I love that you are so passionate about nature and that you appreciate all that mother nature has placed around us. I would like to write you back if that is alright with you. I loved the paper you wrote your letter on too!
Response: Oh I am so pleased you enjoyed the letter :3 I had a lot of fun writing it (now if only the weather holds out I can do all letters outdoors! :P) By all means it would be wonderful to hear back from you- I can't remember if I wrote my address on the envelope, just drop me a PM if I didn't :) Take care and thanks again for a lovely rating!
Comment: Thank you for the interesting book page and the small letter! .) I've always found science a bit too complicated for my dreamy mind but it was exciting to get to know this book. Who knows; maybe I'll read it some day myself! .)
Response: Haha science & dreamy minds do mix! At least it works out ok for me :3 If you do try it one day I hope you enjoy it, thanks for the kind rating :)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard. I haven't read One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest before. I know what you mean though about getting used to reading certain dialects/slangs. Happy reading and swapping! :)
Response: I,m pleased you liked it! I just finished the book yesterday, now I'm going to have to tune back out of the dialect :P Thanks for the lovely rating!
Comment: Just finished reading about your demon and I must say I can really relate, and the way you described it in the letter was very clear. Thank you for sharing something so personal with me; it made a lot of sense.
Response: Hi, thank you for the lovely rating- I am pleased you can relate (..also not pleased, as it's a bit sad..) Once again I am relieved to hear my writing came across as clear/concise. I get so worried about explaining things. I hope you are feeling well x
Comment: Thanks, Sal, for your wonderful drawing which arrived today. You sure are efficient - I haven't even done mine yet! It's interesting that you have Oxalis growing by your window because in Australia it's considered a weed to be eradicated! :(
Response: I'm glad you liked it! I was really excited about drawing flora so I got to work on it quickly xD Oh my Oxalis makes me so happy seeing it open up and close everyday, I can't believe its a bad weed elsewhere! :O Haha, I also have something else that is considered a big pest in Australia- 2 rabbits! ^^ thanks for the lovely rating.
Comment: *terribly, terribly sorry for such a late rate -been ill and am just now getting caught up on my ratings ...
Went Above & Beyond with this one! Thank you ever so much for such a well put together swap -and what a selection! I've had been waiting 'til I felt a bit better to try the teas (as to savor the flavor all the more) -the cherry one smells soooo good :D And thank you for the sweet, 'refined', spoon -I will think of you fondly every time I use it -♥♥♥ Hope you're enjoying your Summer!
Response: I'm sorry you've been ill! :( Now I'm extra glad I packed the box with tea, you'll have plenty to get you through the end of your recovery! oooh yeah the cherry tea is a wonderful smell :3 Glad you liked everything & thanks for the lovely rating! (my 99th heart!)
Comment: Thanks! Love it. I checked out your FB page. Really awesome! (I love that Jane is your SB profile picture :) ) OH- also-The envelope arrived in such perfect condition that I couldn't believe it went through our post office! Everything I get is usually bent, ripped, creased, or dented in some way.
Response: Oh I am so pleased you enjoyed it, I've always found drawing faces a little bit of a trial ^^ Thanks for the lovely rating and for checking out my fb page! I'm pleased to hear the envelope was ok too, as soon as I put it in the postbox I thought "Oh god it'll never survive! I should have put some card in with it!" xD
Comment: Thank you so much for the Doctor Who postcard and stamp! I was in London last month and I didn't know there was a Who Shop at all!
Response: So glad you like it! I"ve been to London a few times previously and hadn't seen it. My friend absent mindedly happened upon it online a few days before leaving for London.. Its a little way out from central London, in Barking.
Comment: :O:O:O i love it sooooooooooooo much ^^^^^^^^ thank you, its up on my wall :D and a doctor who stamp!!!! so awesome, nom nom matt smith <3
Response: Fantastic, fantastic! I'm so glad you like it and sorry about the hoo-haa at the post office ^^; I was excited when I realised my partner was in England and I could use my Doctor Who stamps :3 *joins in with the nom nom Matt Smith* :D
Comment: Thank you for sharing your list with me. My husband also has problems with eating in public so I am happy, for you, that you were able to do that with your friend. I loved the cards you sent as well (especially "Red Roses Too"). By the way, I suffer from depression and PTSD.
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the swap and pleased you understand how hard the eating thing can be- sometimes people say unhelpful things like "Well, can't you just eat?" or "Its only eating what's your problem?" >_> I hoped the postcards would brighten your mail day up! I hope things are running smoothly for you at the moment- love and strength to get through it if not :) x
Comment: I just so happen to be snacking on a piece of chocolate that some wonderful person sent me! ^_^ Thank you SO much!! Don't worry about the late send. It is beautiful! I framed it and added it to my ATC shelf.
Response: Oh woow, an ATC shelf :3 that sounds cool- I'm happy to be some how a part of it :) Pleased you enjoyed the chocolate too ^^ Have a lovely day!
Comment: Sal, thank you so much for your letter. I can relate, I have general anxiety and it's gotten a lot better but it has made things really difficult. Stay strong and of you ever need to talk don't hesitate to pm me.
Response: Santisha, thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the letter and you can relate to all I wrote. I know it is a very common thing but I can't help but sometimes feel a bit lonely about it all ^^; Same goes for you too Sweetpea, drop me a line if you ever feel like it :)
Comment: I really LOVE the hand drawn Keira Jak & Daxter ATC! I did Jak & Daxter too as it is one of my favorite game series, if you have a ps2 or ps3 you should try it :) Oh, and I really like the little square brown envelope you sent it in, did you make it?
Response: So pleased to hear that, I'm happy I picked out one of your favourite game series! I'll try it out one day, my ps2 is still happily hooked up to the tv ^^ I didn't make the envelopes, they are designed to put money in (maybe wages?) you see them from time to time being sold in Post Offices. I thought they were a good size for trading cards. I'll keep my eyes peeled for any more ;D
Comment: Love the card. Your Venus Fly trap is named after Audrey2 from The play (or movie)' Little Shop of Horrors'. I have seen both the original movie & the remake as well as the play off Broadway.
Response: I'm glad you liked it! :D Yes of course Audrey 2 is my Fly Trap's namesake, you are the first person I've told who knows the link :3 I've only seen the film and I saw an amateur theatre version years ago too. Broadway must have been cool :D
Comment: ooooo wow! i so love the package you've sent to me! gorgeous! thanks a bunch!
Response: Haha, I was started to wonder where it had got to! It took its time but I'm glad it got there in the end o.O Hope you enjoy flicking through all the bits and pieces in there :] Thanks for the lovely rating.
Comment: Thankyou so very much! I am making a pot of English Rose as I type this! ^^ I was surprised to see that they weren't individually wrapped tho, O WELL! I guess I can't share this one....LOL More for meeeee! Your tea is going to the post office tomorrow!!
Response: Oh! I would have guessed in a box like that and from a tea shop rather than a supermarket or such they would have been wrapped.. :S Anyhoos, thats more the norm in England you don't often get individually wrapped tea bags in boxes.. We like them free and wriggling about xD Anyhoos a fine reason for not sharing!! Hope you enjoy it all- and I can't wait for my tea :3 Thanks for the lovely rating
Comment: Thank you so much for your 'Cool Spot' ATC :) I am very happy to have received 2 from you now ^_^ I have never played Cool Spot before, I might have to find it online somewhere :) xo
Response: Ohhh good one arrived! xD Cool Spot is an old game x_x; but you are right maybe you'll be able to play it online somewhere. Glad you like it! It would have been nice to have the same partner all the way through don't you think? Then the whole set would be in a similar style :D Have a lovely day! xo
Comment: Little My is probably my favourite Moomin character - for all the reasons you describe. Apparently I look somewhat like her - not sure if that is very flattering!!!! Thanks so much for the card. It's going in my Little My collection. It's so nice to get a hand drawn ATC. Hope you will host another Moomin ATC swap some time soon. Thanks!
Response: Awww! Don't worry when I was younger I had long red hair that I wore in a bun & when I went on holiday to Sweden people in the street shouted "Lilla My" at me xD The red hair is gone now but I'm still short, have a bit of an attitude and storm about in ankle boots :P I'm so pleased you liked the card & I chose one of your favourite Moomin characters! Thank you for the lovely rating!
Comment: Awwww, thank you very much for your wonderful ATC ^^ I appreciate the fact that it was made for me very much ^.^ And I must say ~ great minds think alike, haha... This is the ATC I sent to sagesparrow ~ http://www.flickr.com/photos/tanuneko/6482458373/in/photostream I also connect Snufkin with a comfortable kind of solitude ^.^Thank you so much!
Response: Wow! Thank you for the lovely rating and heart :3 Hee, I'm I am pleased to see your cute ATC & see that we are on the same Snufkin wave length! Once I was at an outdoor market & I heard a harmonica playing in the distance, I decided not to find the player & pretend to myself it was Snufkin passing through on his solitary journey... ^___^; Thanks again!
Comment: I'm a Sal fan, I just had to say that :D Love this ATC sooo much: it's going next to Lisa right here by my monitor! I don't know why I don't have any Professor Layton games, I'm very aware of them ... I just rarely buy games for my DS, the last one being Plants vs. Zombies. What do ya think, should I pick one up? Wait, I already know the answer to that =) Oh, and I keep forgetting to mention that I love your handwriting! ****Thanks a bunch****
Response: OH HURRAY! I rather liked this ATC too, heh :D I'm so pleased you like it and have it on display! I have the Lisa ATC propped up against my desk lamp :3 Yes, you should definitely try a Prof. Layton game the animation & character designs are gorgeous and the puzzles fun. I've recently got the 4th one but it's been stashed away because I have a commisson I really should be working on! :S (..I'm sure you know the affect of video games on productivity..!!)
Comment: This is an awesome ATC Sal, I love Lisa in her serious pose. I recognized the note from Mr. Bergstrum (sp?) on the back right away ... which makes me feel like such a Lisa fanatic, I'm glad I'm not alone :) Thanks a bunch for swapping with me <3
Response: Yay! Oh I'm so pleased you like it. I think it's Mr. Bergstrom :) It made me laugh to remember the episode when Homer writes her the same note when she's upset and she points to the original framed by her bed and says "I've already got one" xD I'd happily indulge in more Lisa ATC swaps in the future. Have a nice day fellow Lisa fanatic! :P
Comment: Thank you so much! These two bunnies are absolutely adorable! I even squealed a little when I first saw them :-) And thank you for joining my swap! I am definitely going to host another one in the future!
Response: I'm very glad you like them! ^^ When I spotted them I knew I had to get them, such a cute pose and little grey tipped ears! Hope you do make another similar swap soon, it would be so much fun with more people in on it :3
Comment: Sal, thank you soooo much for the great package! I love all the papers! And what a beautiful Heart pack! My daughter already claimed 3 of the hearts in there - I told her to "stay out" it's mine! (maybe I'll share one!) And thank you for the wonderful coins! Love them! And the pretty PC you wrote to me on - I appreciate it! ((BIG HUGS))
Response: I'm so pleased you enjoyed it all ^__^ I spent ages picking out the papers I was worried you'd dislike the hearts.. but its great to hear that both you & your daughter love them :3 And I'm extra glad that those coins finally have found a happy home! I think they were getting bored & lonely on my desk ^^ ((BIG HUGS))
Comment: Thank you so much for the LOVELY package-drawings you sent to me. Yes 'birds' have been in my life, totems, as fetishes & muses, etc for ages. So to answer your question about me being bird like in character YES...very much so. I also loved the envie, the mouse is so cute and how '3-R's' of you!! LOL
Response: Oh I am pleased that I got the 'right' spirit animal for you! Aww I get lots of lovely leaflets from the PTES like that mouse one & after they've been read they just shout out to be made into envelopes! Glad you liked the ATCs :]
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard, I really like it! :) And it's nice to hear that you also like Moomins! :D That makes my cold Finnish heart melt! :P
Response: Glad you liked the card! Aww your cold, Finnish heart!? ^^ I bet your heart's not that cold living in the land of the Moomins :D (psst. I'm a HUGE Moomin fan, I want to save up to come to Finland one day & buy up all your Moomin merchandise >__>)
Comment: Yay! Many thanks for a fabulous ATC! I also found it a challenge to draw my fear, and I didn't manage it quite as artistically as you. Many thanks for your note, too (though I feel sad that your life is missing the joy of squid!). Good luck with your guitar! Bob.
Response: Wow, thank you! I'm so pleased you liked it ^w^ I have never struggled so much with an ATC.. The joy of squid? *shiver* I think I'm better off without it! ;P Thanks again Bob!
Comment: Thanks for my new Iiwaken cutey! <3 <3 <3 You did a good job :) The tag package didn't come with it, I guess they got separated during the trip
Response: Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it :D Aww thats a sahme you didn't get the tag package too, it would have been a good post day.. hopefully it will be tootling along abehind the ATC in a few days- and I hope you enjoy that very much too!
Comment: I love it all! Thank you. It got here fine with no postage due.
Response: Oh good! What a relief ^-^ Glad you love it too, I liked that card and felt a bit sad thinking that it might have disappeared some where in the postal system cause of the postage! Thanks for the kind rating!
Comment: Too bad this swap was a bust. Hope it doesn't turn you off to email swaps all together. I'm hosting one myself called "30 Drinking Questions Email Swap" its fun and laid back, please join if this horrible host hasn't ruined you for all email swaps. Happy Swapping!
Response: Thank you for the kind rating in what was otherwise a weird swap :| Don't worry I still like emails swaps.. but I can't join yours I don't drink enough alcohol to answer 30 questions on it!! xD
Comment: hello loverly lady - your letter was fantastic! & I've already written back, but I couldn't find a return address :) if you'd like to pm it to me id love to send it to you :) xo
Response: Aww wow! Thank you glad you liked it so much I'm looking forwards to the response :D Ugh. Sorry I didn't include my return address that was a bit dim of me wasn't it? I'll PM it right away ^^ Take care Rin!

I made another ATC since your swap (you can see them in my flickr link) and I'm now a bit taken with them :3 I'm enamoured with the idea of starting a collection!!! :3
Comment: Woooow! Thank you soooo much for putting so much care and effort into this swap. I love your doodles! ^^ If you don´t mind I´ll send you my sneaky peek, too- just because I think it´s sad that you had only a few participants. (But due to my upcoming journey it will take some time...sorry.)
Response: I really enjoyed doing it! :D Glad you like it. And of course I won't mind, that is wonderful of you to send me your sneaky peek too :3 I can't wait! Hope you have a lovely holiday, Bon Voyage, have fun exploring new places :) I'll send you my address in a PM.
Comment: Hei! Thank you sooo much for that great package! Really, the socks are absolutely fine! It's nice, that you worried about the colour, but I love them nevertheless. Thank you so much! And I'm really happy about the chocolate, too. It was so sweet, that you worried about 230 instead of 250 g and added something extra - I would have rated you a heart even without 20 g "missing" ;) Thank you so much!
Response: Cool, thank you! :3 So pleased you liked it all. Haha, I could never have just sent the 230g bar ^^ It would have preyed heavily on my mind that I'd duped you out of 20g of chocolate!! ;D
Comment: Thanks for the great comments Sal, I loved the duckling Sylvanians so cute! And cant think of a better way to recover from a foot op (hope you're all mended now) although it must have been hard watchin all the goodies and not been mobile to bake/buy your own!!! xXx
Response: Thanks! Yeah I'm all mended now, heh it was a good thing to watch but you're right frustrating not being able to bake! Just had to point at the tv :D *Can I have that one?* drool..
Comment: i think i may still be missing a card, but they've been coming out of order, so i remain hopeful the other will come. then again, if i clean off my desk i may find it! i loved the cards and your little drawings. thank you SO much!!
Response: Oh wow! Thanks for giving me a 5 when you aren't sure where one card is! heh, well rest assured I posted out 7 but if it doesn't appear (via your desk or the post) soon I'll send another :) I was a bit worried cause the post does seem a bit inconsistant to & from America & England :S Pleased you enjoyed my silly doodles!
Comment: This is a beautiful children's book. The girls got a hold of it before I got home from work and had their grandma read it to them right away. Thank you! If I decide to make another swap of this kind in the fall, I will let you know!
Response: I'm glad yous all enjoyed it :) I would love to join another swap like this definately!
Comment: Wonderful!!! You got him so well! And, your letter is amazing - we had such a nice time just hearing what you had to say! Truly considerate, thoughtful, and fun...can't wait to swap with you again! :D
Response: Ahh! That's wonderful to hear :D I'm so pleased you's enjoyed it all, especially the letter- I thought it would be strange to send the parcel without a "hello" of some sort :3 I'll look forwards to the next swap too!
