Comment: Thank you for the koala postcard. Talk about snail mail . . . you sent it on June 29 and it arrived in my mailbox yesterday, Aug 12. Someone must have been enjoying it on it's journey. I hope it has stopped raining by now! :) Take care!
Response: I've had trouble with slow delivery but nothing to equal this!
I'm glad it finally arrived.
Comment: Your note was so nice! Thank you. I appreciate what you said about the library being a tremendous resource. I feel the same way. : ) Your handwriting and card were lovely. And I appreciate the cute bonus stickers so much!
Response: Thank you for the 5 and the heart. I 'm glad you liked the note and stickers.
Comment: Thank you for the Paris postcard. I had to laugh at the tourist in lower left of the card. It reminded me of all of the pictures we take when we go on vacation without family. We always have strangers in our pictures. :) Your concerns are the same as mine. It's a scary world out there now. Hopefully, it will change soon. Take care!
Comment: Thank you for the card. I loved the eagles. Every fall bald eagles stop at the river by my in laws house on their migration. I always feel awed to see one. Thank you for the darling flower ornament you made. It's hanging on my corkboard!
Comment: Thank you for the card and lovely extras! Love farmer’s markets. One here is doing it as a drive thru. You can order ahead or order as you arrive. Takes a little patience but it is going pretty well!
Comment: Thanks so much for the great Dodger Stadium card! I only have a couple of other baseball stadium cards, so it's nice to have this new one for my collection. Thanks, too, for joining my swap! :-)
Comment: Thank you for the card! I have been sending bookstores postcards from the same set and thought I would love to receive one, and yours is the 1st. We would love to visit rural farms (my husband is an animal and agricultural scientist)
Response: That's great! I just received the set a day or two before I sent yours. I really like them. Thank you for the 5 and the heart.
Comment: Loved this card! I'm constantly amazed by the number of people who know where Roanoke is, it seems like such a little place to me! I love this area, it's perfect for all kinds of hiking, kayaking, camping...all the outdoor activities.
Comment: Thank you for the quilt PC. I love the history of quilting and my grandmother passed down the skill to me. She did all of hers by hand. I don't have the patience so I have used a machine for the few small ones I've made. Cheers, D
Comment: Hello Richard! Thank you for the beautiful note-card with such beautiful handwriting! I agree with you, looks like we are going to be on a long road of recovery, but as long as we all stay cautions and healthy, we shall see the end of all this and come out grateful. Stay healthy! Take care!
Response: Thank you for the compliment. Stay healthy!
Comment: Richard... I love the postcard! Growing up in the outskirts near Concord was a wonderful place to grow up. We used to take the train from Lincoln to North Station and walk over to Faneuil Hall. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard of Lake Worth, Fl. I lived near there for 24 years! Spring has come and gone and come back again. I hope it stays this time thought they are calling for snow showers tomorrow morning.
Comment: Thank you so much for your lovely note. It is good to hear that people are being kind and helpful in Kentucky. My parents live in Maine, and they have told me the same thing. We are okay here in Boston---getting more nervous, but looking to when this is all resolved! Best wishes to you and your family.
Comment: Thank you for reading my profile! My daughter liked the Japanese card, and so do I. And it's always nice to find someone who enjoys the same music! I want to recreate some of the smothers Brothers skits and songs for my Vaudeville show! But it's difficult to get their repore and timing and wit just right!
Comment: Good idea using a digital voice recorder! In these trying times we all need to make life easier, not harder. The pretty "happy spring" pc adds a touch of cheer - much-needed! Stay safe and be well.
Comment: I'm sorry the weather messed up your weekend plans. I'm not sure why that always seems to happen, especially when you are so anxious for winter to be over and spring to be here! I hope the spring arrives soon for you. Thank you for the cute butterfly stickers too!
Comment: Thank you, Richard, for the story about your sister. Did she ever learn to make it herself? Is your family still in touch with Cathy's family? It sounds like a beautiful connection.
Response: Sadly, my sister never made banana bread -- she doesn't cook much and isn't a baker at all. She and Cathy remained friends over the years. Both are in their 70s now. Thanks for asking, and thank for the rating.
