Description:

This is another big swap I've come up with. Since I love collecting postcards from all over the world I wanted to make a swap where everyone could get a postcard from as many different countries as possible. Of course, that means sending the same amount of postcards back.

The rules are easy and simple: Send only written + stamped, store-bought postcards that are in good condition and that your partner would love to receive!

Therefore, when you write your country in a thread under this post, write also what kind of postcards you would be happy to receive (write more than one). That way it will be easy for all of us to make the right choice.

I know 15 is a big number but there is plenty of time given until the deadline for sending postcards. And if there are no 15 people in the swap, I will still run it for the people who are in it so don't worry that it will disappear!

P. S. Please, write something on each postcard, a secret you want to share, your favourite love quote, something about yourself and where you live or simply your love for postcards....

I will write postcards from Bosnia & Herzegovina.

My favourites to receive are: UNESCO - old town areas, castles, nature, countryside, cottages, animals, bicycles, and seaside.

Here is Slovenija.

I like postcards with castles, cottages, coasts, islands, sunsets/sunrises, cities, waterfalls, storm, rain, at night, with snow, black & white, animals, people - everything :) I prefer single views. And I also like UNESCO postcards.

Spain is present! My favourite cards are with views of your city/region (sp. Old town), landscapes, small villages, wild animals, traditions and dresses.

I'm thinking about the cost : $1.80 for me in Canada to send one postcard overseas. ($1.05 to send to the U.S.) That's well over $30 when all is said and done, and that doesn't include the cost of the cards. Just sayin'.............

lordofstones 05/21/2012 #

Singapore here!

I like any touristy postcard as long as there is something beautiful or interesting to look at. =D

WanderingHedgehog 05/21/2012 #

United States! Would love a postcard from my partners' hometown, but I'm not picky. :)

cerenaleigh 05/21/2012 #

sending an international PC is almost $2! This swap will probably be about $50 including the cost of the actual PCs. Hopefully all members signing up realize this! Happy Swapping! = )

oh just saw @kerrydwyn s similar post! whoops!

There's really no need for comments on postage costs. You are welcome to join if you want to take part in it but in the same way you are welcome to leave if this is too much for you. I've seen people make similar swaps before and I liked the idea. You all can make your own swaps and have your own rules - everything costs money! I love receiving postcards from all over the world and that's my joy. I spend money on it and invest my time in it when I can but this is not where it is to be discussed. Enjoy swapping!

Melbb 05/23/2012 #

This is Melbb from Germany!

My favourite cards are with views of your city/region and Multi-View are also welcome! I really like it if the name of your country or the place is on the card

A123987 from the United Kingdom here :-) Thanks for making this great swap.

gruskal 05/26/2012 #

Another from the United States here - lots of places here !

I like any and all postcards! If you have some from places in your area like historical buildings, museums or anytype of scenery would be great too - moutains, sunsets, fall, spring or summer.

Looking forward to this swap !
