Irreplaceable

Just like most creatures on this planet, I'm a warm blooded mammal. I have a sunshine and sunflower personality, laced with enough barbed-wire to make it more interesting. I am an ordinary, 20 something Christian girl from Bosnia and I love living my life. I tend to live my life a million miles an hour but I always have room to make new connections and indulge myself in postcards and chocolate (both of which I find very addictive). I'm an adventurer and that's how I roll. After all, life is to be enjoyed, not just enjured. I am a nature and animal lover in mind and spirit. I am whole-hearted and loyal but I have more secrets than you can imagine. I believe in God's uncoditional love and forgiveness. I like to appreciate the little things in life that no one seems to think are special and I love meeting new people and learning about their cultures and how they live, taking photos and journaling and I love sharing my thoughts and ideas, secrets and recipes with others which has led to my favourite hobby – deltiology, where all the magic happens! I so love to sit with a postcard from somewhere around the world, and get lost in the image, imagining myself there. A surprise in my letter box is all I need to sustain a level of happiness in my rather currently uneventful life. I love dark chocolate and happy endings, the smell of the rolls baking in the oven, freshly cut grass and summer rain in the mountains and I adore the sea! Every piece of it. All the time...

This is my list of favourites:

1). Countryside related postcards, such as:

• old cottages and castles
• fields with poppy flowers, lavander, sunflowers, hay...
• bicycles (with some nice details)
• different seasons and aurora lights

2). Seaside related postcards, such as:

• lighthouses and piers
• sea shores and beaches
• sunsets and sunrises

3). UNESCO and postcards on tentative list, such as:

• old town areas with old architecture
• castles and wall ruins
• old bridges
• places of worship
• nature reserves and islands
• national parks with animals
• UNESCO (natural sites)

4). Postcards with people from your country, such as:

• people going about their everyday business
• people wearing national costumes
• people selling food at the local markets
• people doing the traditional art work
• people working in the fields

5). Postcards of animals, such as:

• native animals of your country
• donkeys, goats. sheep, cows, ducks, geese, swans
• hedgehogs, storks, flamingoes, hamsters, cats and dogs

Please, don't send me zazzle postcards, handmade cards, adverts, cartoon characters, statues or typical city views with nothing beautiful and charming to see. Also, don't send me old and damaged cards. I'd be happier if you send me single views or not more than 2 views if it is a multi-view postcard. Written and stamped, or blank and in envelope - both is fine with me. Please, use stamps (as opposed to the post office stickers) and if possible more stamps, I love to look at them. Thank you!

Show me your country's beauties through a postcard... send me a postcard of your natural treasures or historic heritage, I will love it all.

I joined swap-bot to swap postcards but then realised that there are so many other things I could swap such as stickers, stationery, tea-bags, etc. I would love to give it a try. The only themes I am interested in are animals, nature, food, cottages, children and I love anything with Christian quotes or Bible verses on it or with love quotes or any quotes in general! Also, if you send me anything on Sarah Kay, Kim Anderson, Lisa Jane, Precious Moments, Teddy Bears and Tatty Bears - you will make my day and get something in return (that is if you leave your return address on your envelope). I also love hearts and anything glittery.

I will always send my swaps out. If you haven't received my swap to you, please let me know before rating me. I always go out of my way to make sure that my swaps are sent out in time - sometimes it can take a little longer for mail to reach your destination if you are outside Europe (or in Russia) so please be patient and contact me before rating me. I will gladly resend my swap if for any reason it turns out not to be delievered to you.
