Description:

My daughter, who is 14, made the comment the other day about how much mail I get, but nothing comes for her. This gave me the idea of doing a swap for our daughters. (I have two sons also, but they don't care about the mail I get, if someone wants to do a for our sons...please do so.) : )

Let's send our daughters $10 worth of items, just to make them happy. We can address the packages to the mom's if the girls are under 18. This will be an international swap.

This swap is open to those with a rating of 4.5 or higher, with no no-sends in the last six months. I'll consider some flexibility on this if you pm me before signing up.

If you would please, list a few items your daughter might like below to help out your partner. Please list any allergies also. Me and my daughter, Kristen, are looking forward to this swap. Please join us. : )

My daughter Annabel is 4.5, and she loves craft kits, jewelry & earrings (and making them herself), girly hair stuff, stickers, pink and purple, fabric scraps, ribbons, lace, etc (for sewing clothes for her barbies) and anything at all to do with weddings and brides :D

I trust her with my sharpest pair of sewing scissors, so if you're worried about the age rec on anything, I buy her things that are for ages 7+

Hi, thankyou for letting me join this swap:))

My daughter is 28 years old and has a new baby boy that was born on May 24. His name is Zachary Thomas and he was born a month early, so needless to say we were not prepared for him to make his arrival quite so early, lol.

I would love for my daughter, Angie, to receive gifts for the baby and maybe an item or two just for her:) She is pretty well set up now for newborn things, but will be needing things (clothes, toys, etc.) for a little boy 3-9 months old. Angie loves anything that has to do with horses. She is not a girly girl and does not like the color pink at all. She likes things with a western or native american theme the most, but particularly loves horses. She doesn't wear makeup because she is allergic to it. She does like pretty beaded necklaces and bracelets (especially with wood beads) and her favorite color is blue. Thankyou in advance for anything you would like to send to Angie and little Zach:)) P.S. Angie's husband abandoned her when she was 5 1/2 months pregnant, so she has moved back home and has a tough road ahead of her raising the baby alone. Ofcourse....grandma and papa are going to make sure that she and the baby are well taken care of:)) I've already got this little fellow spoiled rotten, lol.

My little girls are 18months and almost 4 yrs old. They both love princesses, dora the explorer, the backyardigans and word world!

The 18 month old doesn't really have a clue, so I would say that crafty stuff for my older daughter would be fine. She loves anything artsy and crafty. She also loves bubbles... and her bedroom is Tinkerbell so she loves that. I think you get the point... lol. She's a girly girl!

What a fun swap! My daughter is 2 and loves Disney Princesses, Barbie, coloring, stickers and all things pink! But she has a tomboy side too and loves cars, bugs and things like that. I'll mention stickers one more time since she is really obsessed with them.

leahsimone 06/22/2008 #

This is neat! My little girl is 7 and loves Pokemon, kawaii, craft supplies, things for dressing up, little notebooks, purses, scarves, stickers, nail polish, lip gloss and balm. As someone said above, and it reminded me to mention, she doesn't like Hannah Montana or Bratz. She does like Barbies, Polly Pockets, Littlest Pet Shop, My Little Pony, though.

Okay, think I've said enough, maybe too much! These are just suggestions--anything you'd like to surprise her with will be great!

My daughter is 7 years old and loves horses, miniature animals of all kinds (like the little ones in craft stores), dance, Brownies (she's heavily involved in her troop). She adores SanRio and little things, Littlest Pet Shop, and American Girl. She really likes to join me in crafting and likes to make jewelry, ATCs, and work on her own scrapbooks.
