I have a new swap that I started if anybody is interested. Its my first swap actually, its a "favorite desserts" atc swap.

susi is correct..."dia de los muertos" is the correct wording :)

I stand corrected on the "muertos" part, but some celebrate 2 days (or dias): November 1, Día de Muertos Chiquitos and Día de los Muertos is on November 2nd. Anyway, I say, let's have fun with the day (or days)!

Thank you cupcakechica. I wish the coordinator would fix (edit) it, because it drives me crazy every time I see it written this way! Am I being terrible? It's just a pet peeve of mine, that's all.

you're welcome Susi! you're not being terrible. it's driving me crazy too. my spanish is FAR from perfect but in english or spanish I get anal when it comes to grammer and spelling. I sent her a polite PM letting her know that it's gramatically incorrect. :)

I'm not the host of this swap but I live in Mexico so I can tell you that one of the important parts of this celebration is to remember those persons that have departed. Thus we make an altar with their photos and the food and things they loved the most. It is believed that during those days the souls of the dead come back and celebrate by our sides and seeing all the things they loved makes them feel joy. So I personally believe it's ok for you to honour your grandmother.

Hi! im not in this swap either, but im mexican and it is Dia de los muertos, i agree with sstudebaker17 about the 2 days, but one of them is not called "dia de los muertos" its called "dia de los santos inocentes" that day is to honour the children. So is day not days, anyways this idea sounds great! :)))

I looked it up. If anyone is waiting for the answer ATC's are 2 1/2" X 3 1/2".

Can someone explain to me how this works? When should my ATCs be ready to send out? Also, where do I get blank ATCs? This sounds fun! Carolyn
