I like all kinds of music with the exception of songs with cursing or derogatory or demeaning lyrics.

Jane Eyre, The Once and Future King, Mary Stewart's series about King Arthur. The Mists of Avalon. I also enjoy books about the religions of the world.

Favorite Movies

I don't watch many movies. I do enjoy Harry Potter. My favorite is "An Affair to Remember." Movies from the 30's and 40's.

Favorite Television

News mostly. Some craft shows.

Favorite Crafts

Quilting, knitting, crochet. I love fabric, 5 inch squares, fat quarters. My favorite color is blue but love earth tones. I don't really personally like pink but find that I use it a lot in quilts I make for others. Knitting has become an obsession, I love yarn mostly natural fibers, all colors. I knit for 12 grandchildren so use all colors.

Family

I am married, have 12 grandchildren ages 2-12. We have 2 dogs, 26 chickens, as many cats as will tolerate the dogs at any given time. I broke my leg 4 years ago and developed RSD and am no longer able to work outside the home (not always a bad thing.) Love gardening, learning about herbs, fabric, quilting notions, knitting (paterns and yarn.) My favorite color is blue. Love earth tones and muted colors.

Inchie Quilts

A friend introduced me to inchies so now I am working on an inchie quilt. I would be interested in small buttons (you know in the shape of animals or toys or flowers or whatever) that could be used when making these tiny quilt squares. Anything that I could use to embelish that can be sewn on. Small patches.

All Things Handcrafted

I really love to see and do appreciate handcrafted items. I understand how much work and effort not to mention time goes into crafting. Anything quilted, knitted, crocheted, soaps, candles etc.

What I Can Trade

I have a room full of fabric, yarn and craft items. I'm happy to trade fabric, yarn, scrapbook items, ATCs, small quilts, quilt blocks, knitted or crocheted items. I love to knit mittens.
