My name is Tameka, I'm a writer, artist, jewelry designer, all around creative carbon based being; I even made a couple of people.

When I am not creating and sometimes during, I enjoy: documentaries, crime dramas, foreign/indie film, world music, strong coffee, tasty lager and solitude.

Causes near and dear to me include: vegetarianism, pacifism, philosophical anarchism, agnosticism, humane treatment of animals, recycling, supporting local/indie businesses, attachment parenting, extended nursing and homeschooling/unschooling.

I'm married to the greatest guy ever for a very long time. He sits by patiently, lovingly and, most importantly- quietly as all of this takes place!

Random Goodness: Patchouli scented anything, "green", earth and/or peace related items, yoga themed items, Bollywood themed items, Bees and Honey items, elephants, owls, monkeys and faux bois...African American ephemera, vintage books, toys, judaica, nerd-wares...

political/patriotic items, western religious items, animal "by-products"; bone, shell, coral, leather, fur, silk, feathers...amigurumi, kawaii, anime, steampunk, glittery/sparkly items, jewelry (I design it but I do not wear it, ever)...I am the "Anti-trendoid".

Inexpensive items that make me smile!

Mechanical pencils, reward stickers, guinea pig or cat themed anything, archival safe glue sticks, $1 store coloring books, tissue paper, beads (no pony beads or seed beads please) felt squares (not wool), faux foliage (not silk), soy tarts, scented soaps (florals not fruits and NO spice), ephemera: flowers, vintage biology text, vintage sheet music, yellowed pages of just about any book, old dictionary pages, postage stamps...

Coffee-the plain stuff no flavors please. Green tee mate=yum. All loose teas welcome. Candy-European chocolate please. I like just about any hard candies too. I do not like black licorice or candy corn...blecch! Sugar free gum=yum!

I put a great deal of effort into the packages I send out and would appreciate if you did the same. When in doubt please ask.

I also request you contact me if you have not received your parcel w/in a week (domestic) two weeks (int'l) of the mailing date before leaving negative feedback-I'm not a slacker, but I am neurotic and negative feedback makes my stomach hurt...like really badly. so let's all play nice, okay?
