MINI CLEAR STAMP SWAP

So it HAS to be profile based?

Kraftylady777-Nope! It does not HAVE to be profile based, but lets to our best to send our partners something they would like. Example: If someone wrote on their profile that they LOVE turtles. . .and you happen to find a mini stamp with a turtle image-that would be perfect for them. But if someone has "please no religious items" on their profile. . .don't send them a mini stamp of a cross.

Hopefully that clarifies things. : )

I do have some nice clear mini-stamps. I bought them last saturday, they are brand new. But they are not from any 'brand' (do you understand what I mean). Is that a problem?

Mieke- I just listed the brands to help inspire and to clarify what mini stamps are. . .feel free to send new generic clear stamps. No brand requirements. There is no company name on the packaging?? That is odd?

All mini stamps do need to be packaged-please do NOT send stamps to your partner that are not in a manufacturer's packaging.

They have a ton on clearance right now at Michaels for .29 cents each!

@PaperMoments it is a shop which sells everything (from cookingstuff, cleaningstuff to craftstuff). It just says it is made in China, that is all.

Would many of you like to see this swap on a monthly basis by theme?? Or we could do a used Clear Stamp Swap-where we pass on some stamps that we have used in exchange for some different stamps?
I'd like to host some type of stamp swap every month. Do you have a specific stamp swap in mind?

Give me some feedback and ideas and I'll see about posting a new swap in March one for every month going forward.

Can we buy for our partner from etsy / another online store? Our selection in South Africa for stamps are quite limited and the online selections are GREAT in comparison. A dollar goes a lot further :)

I mean and have the onmine seller ship directly to our partner (just making sure my question is clear).

Looking forward to this swap! @PaperMoments I think it would be great if you hosted one of these every month or so. I will definitely be watching for them :)

I'd love more stamp swaps...maybe you should make a stamp swapping group!?!

That is a great idea-Rejoicing. . .to have a group devoted to stamp swaps. I'll see about setting that up and letting everyone know if it happens. I may not have enough 'street credit' yet here on swap-bot to head up a group, but I'll find out!

Mar1I1ze- I understand your dilemma with your selection of stamps in your region. Your Etsy solution sounds okay-as long as you trust the seller-since you will not actually be able to see the stamps in person that will be directly mailed. Just make sure you keep in good contact with your seller you are buying from and your swap partner.

@Rejoicing @PaperMoments ...I think a stamp and/or stamp swapping group is a great idea! I would definitely be game for something like that.

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to my stamps...I sometimes have a hard time parting with them because you never know when you might need those images again. But with mini stamps being so inexpensive I'd love to see the "new" stamp swaps regularly :)

I just signed in with a mini rubber stamp swap on my mind... I found EXACTLY what I was looking for! Awesome! LOL!

I have my stamps ready to go...Now I just need an address to put on the front of the envelope. It's stamped and ready to go. I have several to choose from so it will fit my partners profile. :-) Judy

WAHOO!!! I hit the clear stamp sale MOTHERLOAD today at joann's!!!!!! So fun! Now I am stocked up for swaps. It is bad enough buying to feed my stamp collection, but now I am buying 2 so I have one to swap! LOL!!!

I received my stamps from Jenny in Australia. (2012ash) They are beautiful and hopefully I did the rating right. I'm so new at this.

Received mine from Heather. Great stamps!!!! Love them!
