If you love the little mini clear stamps that only run about $1 to $5 than this is the right swap for you!

Here's the RULZ:

*You'll have 1 partner to mail/swap one clear mini stamp or one mini clear set.

*MUST BE NEW! New means never opened, in the original package. Please buy a new mini clear stamp, do NOT send a used one!

**Don't spend more than $5 on your mini clear set. You should be able to find these at just about any craft store for less than $3.00 (U.S. Dollars) before taxes. Don't send a larger clear set of stamps, unless you have it in your stash, its brand new, never opened and in perfect, new condition (no cracks or yellowing) and you don't mind spending the extra money on a larger envelope and postage. This would be considered an EXTRA and if you receive a set like this, you'll need to give a heart, as long as it meets all the other rules listed here.

***Stamps must be CLEAR & MINI or a single clear stamp that can be cling mounted on any acrylic or glass block. These are generally made from a clear polymer. Don't send a set of rubber stamps mounted on wood or any mounted on cling material or unmounted rubber stamps or other type.

****Stamp must be an image, not just a sentiment. Some of these mini's do come with an image or two and a small sentiment and this is fine. Just make sure your set has a larger image in it.

*****Read your partner's profile before sending so you can try to get a feel for the type of images/themes they like. If they don't have this info. on their profile, post here your preferences for your partner to read or send them a message requesting the information.

*******Send your clear mini stamp in a standard, flat paper envelope with a piece of bubble wrap, tissue, or extra heavy paper around it so it will not get damaged.

This is an international swap.

I'll allow NEWBIES with completed profiles and no bad ratings below 4.5. I'll review your profile and ratings and reserve the right to remove you from the swap if you don't meet the minimum guidelines.

Any flakers-I'll report you to ADMIN. and I'll angel anyone who gets a flaker.

If this goes well, I may create this same swap on a monthly basis and even offer a separate used clear stamp swap monthly as well.

Here are some brand name companies clear mini stamp manufacturers (not limited to these though): Studio G, Imaginisce (Snag'em Stamps), Inkadinkado, Kaisercraft, We R Memory Keepers, Pollycraft, Autumn Leaves (Stampology), Fancy Pants, etc. Just about every major scrapbooking company has a line of mini stamps now. I even have a few small clear sets made by Wal-mart.

Let's get swapping and trade some new mini stamps!

So it HAS to be profile based?

PaperMoments 01/ 7/2011 #

Kraftylady777-Nope! It does not HAVE to be profile based, but lets to our best to send our partners something they would like. Example: If someone wrote on their profile that they LOVE turtles. . .and you happen to find a mini stamp with a turtle image-that would be perfect for them. But if someone has "please no religious items" on their profile. . .don't send them a mini stamp of a cross.

Hopefully that clarifies things. : )

I do have some nice clear mini-stamps. I bought them last saturday, they are brand new. But they are not from any 'brand' (do you understand what I mean). Is that a problem?

PaperMoments 01/10/2011 #

Mieke- I just listed the brands to help inspire and to clarify what mini stamps are. . .feel free to send new generic clear stamps. No brand requirements. There is no company name on the packaging?? That is odd?

All mini stamps do need to be packaged-please do NOT send stamps to your partner that are not in a manufacturer's packaging.

jannieb 01/14/2011 #

They have a ton on clearance right now at Michaels for .29 cents each!

Mieke 01/22/2011 #

@PaperMoments it is a shop which sells everything (from cookingstuff, cleaningstuff to craftstuff). It just says it is made in China, that is all.

PaperMoments 01/30/2011 #

Would many of you like to see this swap on a monthly basis by theme?? Or we could do a used Clear Stamp Swap-where we pass on some stamps that we have used in exchange for some different stamps?
I'd like to host some type of stamp swap every month. Do you have a specific stamp swap in mind?

Give me some feedback and ideas and I'll see about posting a new swap in March one for every month going forward.
Thank you. Jill/Paper Moments

Can we buy for our partner from etsy / another online store? Our selection in South Africa for stamps are quite limited and the online selections are GREAT in comparison. A dollar goes a lot further :)

Mar1l1ze 02/ 5/2011 #

I mean and have the onmine seller ship directly to our partner (just making sure my question is clear).

newadditions 02/ 5/2011 #

Looking forward to this swap! @PaperMoments I think it would be great if you hosted one of these every month or so. I will definitely be watching for them :)

Rejoicing 02/ 9/2011 #

I'd love more stamp swaps...maybe you should make a stamp swapping group!?!

PaperMoments 02/ 9/2011 #

That is a great idea-Rejoicing. . .to have a group devoted to stamp swaps. I'll see about setting that up and letting everyone know if it happens. I may not have enough 'street credit' yet here on swap-bot to head up a group, but I'll find out!

Mar1I1ze- I understand your dilemma with your selection of stamps in your region. Your Etsy solution sounds okay-as long as you trust the seller-since you will not actually be able to see the stamps in person that will be directly mailed. Just make sure you keep in good contact with your seller you are buying from and your swap partner.

newadditions 02/11/2011 #

@Rejoicing @PaperMoments ...I think a stamp and/or stamp swapping group is a great idea! I would definitely be game for something like that.

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to my stamps...I sometimes have a hard time parting with them because you never know when you might need those images again. But with mini stamps being so inexpensive I'd love to see the "new" stamp swaps regularly :)

I might be to late to sign up but if not - please add me. Yesterday was a great day with family. We hopped around to 3 different craft stores and YES I found some awesome clear stamps. My daughter (kit's attic) is in this swap so she asked me to check it out. Let me know - Judy

I just signed in with a mini rubber stamp swap on my mind... I found EXACTLY what I was looking for! Awesome! LOL!

MommaJ 02/25/2011 #

I have my stamps ready to go...Now I just need an address to put on the front of the envelope. It's stamped and ready to go. I have several to choose from so it will fit my partners profile. :-) Judy
