I'm a mother of two boys (3&9), own a parrot and am a practical nurse, I work with the elderly people. My workplace is really closeby and I enjoy my short distances. I like to ride a bike to places and I love to visit second hand fleamarkets and to cloth my kids!
I enjoy travelling, seeing new places and meeting people. I just love, love, love snailmailing and all that comes with it! I'm also active in Postcrossing. You see me often in postcard-swaps due to my 'obsession' over them 😃 I like my tea with milk & honey and coffee with cream 😉
I live in the capital but deep in my heart I wish I could have a house in the countryside - I love the nature! Every spring/summer I transform my balcony into a small garden.
I have always loved receiving mail, esp.postcards! If I know someone travelling somewhere, I always ask them to send me one. I love my mail with real stamps on them. The more the merrier 😉
Send me a card decorated with washi/stamps/stickers/ decorative handwriting (or what else) and I promise you, my heart will take an extra beat - for joy! 😊
And yes - this seems to be in about every second profile so I'll also add mine ;) I always send my swaps, so far I've always been on time and that's where I like it, I don't flake, I'm here to have fun - not drama (has there ever been?). If you don't get my swap, then it's gone.. but hey, I'll resend, so swipe the tears away - just let me know 😊
I'm reading too little these days, I just can't find enough time but the last book i read was Harry Potter and the cursed child, Lord of the Rings is amazing and then i enjoy Robin Cook's books and I'm a big fan of Torey Hayden's books as well.
Romance, comedy and action - separately or all together 😊
Some of my favorite tv shows are Bones, Scorpion, Rizzoli & Isles and the C.S.I -"family". Again - not enough time to watch tv. Oh, and I love The Incredible Dr. Pol!
When i have time, i make my own Christmas cards. I used to swap Decos years and years ago and I enjoyed them quite a bit.
I'm a BIG fan of postcards!
I always check everyone's profiles for likes/preferences (even though it would be sender's choice!). I always try to find the right card among that, if it just is possible. I appreciate if you read mine, I basically have just a few no-no's and a huuuuge list of likes. I never send unwanted leftovers to anyone, even if it'd be Sender's choice - I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate getting them either, right 😉
Which kind do I like then? All kinds actually, sure I've got my favorites but as long as You find the card beautiful or interesting - then there's a meaning for it!
PLEASE I prefer you wouldn't send touristic cards BLANK (I really prefer them Only written & stamped and preferably Only from origin/region. Thank You😊)

All in all, I'm happy with all - every single card makes me happy, just surprise me! But keep the erotic/nudistic or religious cards for someone who collects them 😊 Selfmade cards ok if made well and with thought 😊
** Note: If sending blank cards please no touristy because I only want them travelled (written and stamped).
