Hi everyone I am here bcuz I was searching for ephemera pen pals online and came across this site hoping to find a few. I am a mixed media artist, mother of one beautiful 24 year old boy. I have three degrees but unfortunately haven't been able to use them bcuz I had fibromyalgia for over 15 years. So I have lots of time to be creative... when I am physically and mentally able. I do woodworking, metal work, and have dabbled in many other art forms over the years including clay, graphic arts, photography, jewelry and more. I made a living for awhile painting with acrylics,. I have a passion for art journaling, card making, junk journals, drawing and mixed media papercrafts.

Love cool HALLOWEEN stuff year-round (not kiddy stuff or demonic. No tarot cards or ouiji board either please). I am obsessed with bracelets, especially goth, punk and Halloween themed. DIE CUTS: I have a sizzix so any that fit that, that you don't want i would happy take off your hands, that would be awesome!
I am slightly obsessed with STICKERS. I love them! Some of my favorite sticker themes are: LISA FRANK. Disney mostly just ALICE in WONDERLAND and some MICKEY & MINNIE mouse. SANRIO but only LITTLE TWIN STARS, HELLO KITTY, MY MELODY, 80's themed, Mrs Grossman, Oilies FANTASY: UNICORNS, rainbows, MERMAID, dragons, puffy, anything donuts, cake, CANDY related, baking, cooking, BUTTERFLIES Halloween Dimensional stickers Foil stickers especially seals for envelopes.

Some of the other things I enjoy collecting are art supplies, die cuts (I use my Sizzix big shot daily), stickers, Stamps (postage and cling), unique measuring cups, Disney & other unique lapel pins.

I love STEAMPUNK, old watch parts, cogs. Some ORIENTAL themed stuff. I also love to bake and cook. Hobbies and collecting: I grew up going to antique stores with my parents. I still love the treasure hunting of going to antique stores, flea markets, swap meets and even thrift stores. Both my parents were collectors. I collect dolls, mostly monster high dolls, Ever after high, Winx and Rainbow High.

DISLIKES; I dislike getting a bunch of non-Halloween stuff in Halloween swaps! That may sound picky but I love love Halloween and it's just kind of a bummer to sign up for a Halloween swap and get almost nothing Halloween based. I am very allergic to cigarette smoke so please don't send anything with that scent. I don't really do well with strong scents at all, so other than like scratch and sniff stickers I would prefer not to receive scented items. Thank you for your understanding.

Books: I love scary stories, Darcy Coates is my favorite author and I love juvenile fiction fantasy books with some kind of magic or Sci-fi element to them.

My favorite movies are: 1) Chronicles of Riddick 2) Lord of the Rings trilogy 3) the 3 Hobbit movies 4) Return to Me 5) Pirates of the Caribbean movies 1 & 3 6) Pathfinder (mostly bcuz Karl Urban is gorgeous) 7) Princess Bride 8) Monty Python Quest for the Holy Grail

Most of my favorite music is from the 80's. I like R&B, pop, rock, some alternative, & a little Christian.

A little more about me: Things that are important to me are family and the Lord. Driving,listening to music, doing art and listening to faith motivated teachings by mostly Joyce Meyer, or whatever God brings to me. My health has been a difficult journey to say the least, In addition to a whole slew of other things I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 15 years ago. It is a horrible & incurable disease I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. But having it grew my faith in leaps and bounds and on Aug 25th of this year (2018) God healed me of it. I still struggle with a couple other health issues but I believe God has already taken care of them too. For anyone struggling with Fibro or any other "invisible " disease, I highly recommend the site "The Mighty " it has been a huge tool in helping me & my husband cope with the difficulties of the fibro, depression and more.
