My primary love is miniatures, building things in small scales. In addition, I knit, crochet, do paper arts, scrapbook, sew home dec and clothing, polymer clay, newbie to felting, paint (not well), and love trying new things. I moved from California to Maine (!) two years ago, and am loving the time to reflect and craft! I love to cook. I am currently teaching a five-year old girl to sew, and she wants to next learn to knit and crochet.

My favorite music is jazz, but I love classical and opera. I like listening to soft rock, and classics like Joni Mitchell, Roberta Flack, The Beatles, of course. I don't like rap or heavy metal, but I do like R&B a lot.

My DH and I are currently on season four of The Wire, and we love "24." Oh, that Jack Bauer! We like Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, House, American Idol, and many Masterpiece Theatre pieces.

My favorite color is probably purple, maybe red or blue. On the other hand, yellow is wonderful. I just love colors, and preferably deep colors, not so much into pastels.

I was raised in Connecticut and moved to California when I was 20, where I raised my two sons and who continue to live in the Central Coast. When I was 40, I bought my own "camp" on the lake in Maine where I spent my summer vacations as a child, and then spent the next 18 years spending more time each year in Maine, but mainly residing in California where I owned a court reporting business. I sold my business when I was 50, and met a wonderful man when I was 57. He is now my full-time, forever man, and that's why I moved to Maine full time! I love cats, and I have two; Amanda, an elderly timid grey tabby, and Sullivan, who we have had just since December. He's a handful, totally black with completely round green eyes. I always rescue animals, and believe that they love us as deeply as we do them! I won't put anything that isn't hand made or natural on my Christmas tree, so I am always happy to have someone create an ornament for me.
